In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.

Had a problem with pests getting into attic through gaps in roof. Was advised to get proffesional roofers to check it out so contacted GW & JS Roofing. As soon as "lockdown" was eased a time was sorted to carry out the work and the guys were round to fill in gaps and kept me updated throughout the work.Thanks Alan and Darren.

Two chimneys were stripped and re-harled. The cast iron guttering was also re-bedded with three new sections being inserted. General checking the roof and attending to any slates that needed replaced or adjusted.

Following water ingress to the house, Jason & Guy undertook roof repairs which included slate replacement and moss/algae removal on the main roof, along with the complete replacement of a flat roof on the porch. The porch task also involved heightening the porch roof, to allow rainwater to more efficiently drain into existing guttering. The result is fantastic, with the entire porch looking brand new! All aspects of the work were undertaken professionally and with respect to the existing property/garden area. Jason & Guy were punctual and, importantly, reliable. They are a credit to their profession and I have no hesitation in recommending them for roof repairs. I would certainly contact them again in the future.

Repair and harling to chimney stack, cleaning of roof and mending roof ridge, and replacing broken front door steps with a sloping gravel path. They were excellent workers, pleasant to deal with and very reliable.

Removed chimney to roof level and re-slated where it previously was. Replaced multiple sections of cast iron and plastic guttering.
Excellent service. Work was agreed and carried out a few weeks later at a time which suited me. All the team were extremely friendly and helpful. Very happy with the work. Would recommend and would use again if need arises.

We had a potentially damaging water leak from a skylight in the attic. We were provided with a pair of quotes to remedy the issue. One a straightforward repair and a second for a repair and replacement Velux window. We chose the latter. The work was carried out smoothly and efficiently with no disruption to daily routine. During the work several additional tiles were identified as damaged. We agreed to their replacement at additional cost. When the final invoice arrived this cost was minimal.
We were advised at every stage of the works and all workmen (including the scaffolders) left the area clean and tidy on completion.
No hesitation in recommending the company, and (should the need arise) would have no hesitation in calling them again.

Rooflight and rotten timberwork repaired. The proprietors are friendly, reliable and respond promptly. The work was carried out as planned and the repairs were effective with no recurrence of the problems. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm.

After heavy rain I experienced water pouring through my roof to my ceiling. Jason attended and dealt swiftly with an immediate fix around my dormer where the problem was. The full repair was organised on a date of my preference with the cost estimate becoming the actual cost. Helpful approach throughout with full explanation at every stage. Safety also seemed important as were manners! Thank you. Pleasure to deal with.

Repair to chimney and new gutters. Quote given very reasonable. My aerial looked very shaky and they recommended an aerialist look at it. I made the call and aerialist arrived and on inspection he could see it was completely broken - been up for more than 40 years - and showed me faulty wiring and mast stand hanging by a thread so new one replaced.
New gutters painted inside and out. Chimney pot very loose and whilst repairing it the guys also noticed 2nd chimney not so good so repaired that also at no extra cost. Guys were very friendly and work went very smoothly.
All in all job well done!

Quick response to enquiry and prompt visit. Fair assessment of state of roof and recommended solution for current cracked gutter problem. Immediate quote for cracked gutter patching repair which I accepted and work carried out there and then. Pleased with result.
