In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.

Remedial corrective work carried out following poor workmanship of neighbour's recent full roof re-state by their very diabolically unskilled roofers which had badly impacted my roof at the adjoining part of the roof (semi-detached property) on both the front and rear of my property, in addition to around the chimney apron lead work.
Jason and Alan are very professional, efficient and pleasant to deal with. It was immediately obvious upon meeting them that this company takes their work very seriously which was very reassuring (especially given the distress our roof issue had caused). This is clearly a very professional company and from experience, it can be extremely difficult to find roofers like this. Jason and Alan discussed with me what needed to be done and the job was completed with the greatest of efficiency. The site was cleared and no mess was left. Not only does my roof no longer leak, but it now looks as it should. I really can't recommend GW & JS Roofing enough!

Guy came to inspect roof at my property and quoted £250 + vat which I accepted in writing. No date was given for the work as advised not urgent and Company would contact me in due course.
Last Tuesday evening I received a surprise email advising two workers had come to my home and completed repairing/replacing slates on roof. They charged a further £150.00 + vat stating there was more work required, but no details on the invoice. Neither my wife or myself were at home so they proceeded to enter my property and carry out work without permission.
I have now managed to agree a compromise with Jason that the additional charge would be reduced to £75 + vat bringing total due £390.
I would not deal with this Company again.

Jason very helpful, friendly and reliable staff, turned up exactly when they said they would. Courteous, reliable and friendly workers. Work done to an excellent standard and explained the work they were doing and made sure we were happy when they finished.

I was advised that they had a large back log of work due to Covid restrictions and it took 2 months from first contact to completing the job. But it was worth the wait as they turned up when they said they would. The roofers were very polite and friendly and kept me informed of the work they were doing. Photos of before and after the repairs were provided.
I recommend GW & JS Construction Ltd for any roof repairs but be warned they are very busy!

Recommended to me by neighbour. My roof needed work replacing certain tiles and examining and redoing pointing as necessary.
Work was done properly and quickly. I was impressed by the efficacy of all the work done. I will use this company again if the need arises.

I have used GW&JS Construction Ltd several times over the past decade and have always found them to be efficient, trustworthy and professional. Jason, one of the Directors, kept me fully informed throughout the process responding promptly to any queries, often within just a few hours.
The team arrived on site as planned on the first day and set about their work diligently namely taking down two chimneys and retiling the voids all of which was completed a day ahead of schedule. The site was left tidy throughout and I was very pleased with the end result. I would have no hesitation in recommending GW&JS Construction Ltd and will certainly use them again for any future roofing works.

As a returning customer for the third time I am more than happy to extol the good work of the staff involved in fixing water ingress to my garage. The men went over and beyond in their approach to what turned out to be a challenging job for them to fix. I would also like to praise them for being so helpful and keeping me informed at all times. I would have no hesitation in using the firm again and recommend the firm wholeheartedly to anyone seeking quality workmanship.

Quick to come out and quote for work. Turned up on time. The workmen on site were always very polite and easy to deal with. Very neat and tidy, site was cleared up every evening over the 8 days. Had dry ridge and verge system fitted with old tiles and mortar picked out and removed, house looks far neater and better for it. Sub contractors turned up the day after roof work complete to remove scaffold and skip. Overall very impressed and would recommend.

The work was completed promptly and the men on site were very pleasant and courteous.
Email communication was responded to by Jason almost immediately and he sent photos of all work completed.

This is the second time I have used GW & JS Construction Ltd. Really easy to deal with fantastic customer service - fast and efficient. Their knowledge and experience and quality of work is excellent and Guy and Jason really make an effort to make sure everything is right.
The job was to install around 11m of new flashing between house and flat garage roof and some felting work. All work was done to an excellent standard with good quality materials and the area was left clean and tidy. Alan and Darran did the flashing, both were friendly, worked hard and kept me updated on progress. I would highly recommend GW & JS Construction Ltd.
