The directors of GW & JS Construction Ltd, have more than thirty years combined experience and expertise in the roofing & Building industry.
In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.

Garage Roof felt replaced and two new skylights and replacement of 4 old cast iron gutters
The start of work was initially delayed due to workers getting covid and also further delays after works had commenced with further cases of covid.

Jason's professionalism and honesty were obvious from when I first called about the leak in our roof. He was able to come round the following morning, arriving early, identified the broken tile and replaced it. I would highly recommend GW & JS Construction Ltd and will definitely call Jason if I even need work done in the future.

We had multiple leaks coming through a newly purchased property, Jason was quick to come back to us, and promptly visited the property. After investigating various parts of the roof, Jason identified the issues, with pictures he took whilst on the roof and reported back with a plan of action. We had our lead flashing fixed around the dormer areas of our property and chimneys re-harled. Both Allan and Frank worked their socks off to complete the works, they communicated throughout on what had been done, Jason regularly visited site and kept us up to date on progress throughout. Everyone was friendly, professional and easy to deal with. The property was always left tidy upon finishing as well. We've been battered with poor weather recently and we have no sign of any more leaks! I would happily recommend GW & JS Construction Ltd to others. Massive thanks to Jason, Allan and Frank for sorting our roof!

Flat roof renovated.
Jason and Guy carried out the work on my mum’s property to a high standard. We were kept informed of progress throughout and provided photos of each stage of the job. They were polite, reliable and a pleasure for my mum to have around. Any communication was clear and prompt and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Company worked out the problem very quickly and professionally, reharling chimney etc and replaced slates. Chaps were there when stated, carried out work efficiently and within time, cleared up after themselves. From start to finish were really approachable and all reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend them, in fact have already passed their phone number on.

We moved into a property which had a new roof put on approx 15yrs ago. We noticed a very small leak coming in a trap door and we rang the guys who got back to us straight away and came out to us within a couple of days. Quick inspection and the source was found and sorted there and then; at no extra cost. Superb customer service and efficiency. Would highly recommend.

Jason responded and came swiftly to fix a leak in our garage roof. He happily resealed open joints in the existing covering (rather than suggesting an expensive replacement like others had done). After a few months a small leak reappeared and, again, Jason responded quickly, this time fixing it there and then the day after I emailed him! The icing on the cake was being told there was no charge because all their work is guaranteed for a year! Excellent service, thank you!

Excellent felt re roofing of 60 year old double garage with pitched roof. Replacement of only necessary woodwork. Fitting of gutters and down pipes and fascia boards. Kept us well informed of any changes to scheduling etc. Good customer service. The team were clean and tidy as the work progressed and removed all waste. It’s been several months since the work has been done and the roof has been subjected to all the weathers. All joints and seams tight. Definitely recommend.

Remedial corrective work carried out following poor workmanship of neighbour's recent full roof re-state by their very diabolically unskilled roofers which had badly impacted my roof at the adjoining part of the roof (semi-detached property) on both the front and rear of my property, in addition to around the chimney apron lead work.
Jason and Alan are very professional, efficient and pleasant to deal with. It was immediately obvious upon meeting them that this company takes their work very seriously which was very reassuring (especially given the distress our roof issue had caused). This is clearly a very professional company and from experience, it can be extremely difficult to find roofers like this. Jason and Alan discussed with me what needed to be done and the job was completed with the greatest of efficiency. The site was cleared and no mess was left. Not only does my roof no longer leak, but it now looks as it should. I really can't recommend GW & JS Roofing enough!

Guy came to inspect roof at my property and quoted £250 + vat which I accepted in writing. No date was given for the work as advised not urgent and Company would contact me in due course.
Last Tuesday evening I received a surprise email advising two workers had come to my home and completed repairing/replacing slates on roof. They charged a further £150.00 + vat stating there was more work required, but no details on the invoice. Neither my wife or myself were at home so they proceeded to enter my property and carry out work without permission.
I have now managed to agree a compromise with Jason that the additional charge would be reduced to £75 + vat bringing total due £390.
I would not deal with this Company again.

Jason very helpful, friendly and reliable staff, turned up exactly when they said they would. Courteous, reliable and friendly workers. Work done to an excellent standard and explained the work they were doing and made sure we were happy when they finished.

I was advised that they had a large back log of work due to Covid restrictions and it took 2 months from first contact to completing the job. But it was worth the wait as they turned up when they said they would. The roofers were very polite and friendly and kept me informed of the work they were doing.
