The directors of GW & JS Construction Ltd, have more than thirty years combined experience and expertise in the roofing & Building industry.
In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and acquaint you more fully with our services and facilities. Throughout our careers we have learnt that services and quality is every bit as important as price.
We appreciate our customers and believe we are big enough to matter and small enough to care. Our personal aims are to share our experiences over the past 30 years with valued customers and ensure our work is to 100% quality standards carried out by fully qualified tradesmen.
Our service is comprehensive; be it a slate repair, choked outlet or small re-roofing contract to felted, slated/tiled roofs and maintenance work.
We pride ourselves on quality of workmanship and firmly adhere to the standards laid down for the roofing industry.

Roofing repairs to prevent water ingress. The business is reliable and good with communications - they tell you what they are going to do and when and always reply quickly to questions. They did my work very soon after the lifting of lockdown.

Garage Roof felt replaced and two new skylights and replacement of 4 old cast iron gutters
The start of work was initially delayed due to workers getting covid and also further delays after works had commenced with further cases of covid.

Guy came to inspect roof at my property and quoted £250 + vat which I accepted in writing. No date was given for the work as advised not urgent and Company would contact me in due course.
Last Tuesday evening I received a surprise email advising two workers had come to my home and completed repairing/replacing slates on roof. They charged a further £150.00 + vat stating there was more work required, but no details on the invoice. Neither my wife or myself were at home so they proceeded to enter my property and carry out work without permission.
I have now managed to agree a compromise with Jason that the additional charge would be reduced to £75 + vat bringing total due £390.
I would not deal with this Company again.

Inaccurate quote, contraditions during correspondence.
No respect for other property not connected to the work being carried out.
Unpleasant company to deal with.
Would definitely not recommend this company, I you can't trust their correspondence, how can their work be trusted!
