The directors of GW & JS Construction Ltd, have more than thirty years combined experience and expertise in the roofing & Building industry.
In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and acquaint you more fully with our services and facilities. Throughout our careers we have learnt that services and quality is every bit as important as price.
We appreciate our customers and believe we are big enough to matter and small enough to care. Our personal aims are to share our experiences over the past 30 years with valued customers and ensure our work is to 100% quality standards carried out by fully qualified tradesmen.
Our service is comprehensive; be it a slate repair, choked outlet or small re-roofing contract to felted, slated/tiled roofs and maintenance work.
We pride ourselves on quality of workmanship and firmly adhere to the standards laid down for the roofing industry.

We needed 6 large ridge tiles plus several flat tiles replaced. Our job was dealt with promptly and the team were very professional from the moment I initially contacted them, to the completion of the job. We are really pleased with the neat workmanship too, would highly recommend.

Following high winds and storm damage we checked the Trusted Trader website to garner possible roofers to carry out the repairs. Jason was quick to respond and took the time to run through possible solutions and to discuss time-frames for the work to be carried out. We felt comfortable with the approach he took on behalf of GW & JS Construction Ltd and the costings were broadly in line with other Trusted Trader Roofers we had approached. On this basis we went ahead. Alan and Frank turned up on the agreed date to commence the work. We were comfortable throughout that this felt that the job was being carried out in a professional manner. They kept the area tidy whilst they worked and we could see the amount of damage being repaired as the repairs progressed. As this was happening, Jason continued to keep us updated with any necessary information e.g. skip hire and work progress.
The work is now completed. Skip and scaffolding have been removed. We are delighted with the roofing repairs carried out and especially the manner by the whole team in how this was carried out. We would have no issue recommending. Once again Trusted Trader has come up trunps and appreciate the time individuals take leaving their recommendations and feedback on this website. We certainly benefited.

This firm was instructed on behalf of all the proprietors in a block of six dwelling houses / apartments in connection with roof repairs (including slating and rainwater goods): down taking of chimney to roof level and installation of cortex flues, erection / downtaking of scaffolding etc, and repair & maintenance of mutual pathway and staircase including ground works. All the work appears to have been carried out in a satisfactory manner. This may be vouched by one of the proprietors who himself is a civil engineer. A pleasing aspect of the service provided has been the prompt and courteous manner in which queries have been answered. In addition; the attention provided by the firm , after settlement of invoices has been conducted quickly and in a friendly manner. As far as I am able to judge this is a highly professional firm which takes pride in its workmanship, courteousness and professionalism. From my experience I would have no hesitation in instructing GW & JS again nor in recommending the firm to others.

The estimate for the supply & fitting of a new sun tunnel was fully detailed and provided promptly. As the work had to be programmed to follow other trades on site, we found GW & JS very cooperative and flexible in agreeing a convenient start date. When starting the work it was discovered that to an incorrect component had been delivered. Although this delayed completion, the work was immediately re-scheduled and completed without any inconvenience within a couple of days. The personal involvement on site by Director Guy Wright provided reassurance that the work was executed correctly and to our entire satisfaction. I would have no hesitation in using this firm again or recommending them to others.

My first contact with the company was with Jason (director of company) who came to survey my property and I found him to be very professional helpful and friendly.
When Guy ( also director of the company) arrived to carry out the work along with the other guys. They arrived when they stated they would, work started immediately. They were professional, tidy workers clearing up after work finished. I found them all to be very friendly and helpful and would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family.
