In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.

We appreciate our customers and believe we are big enough to matter and small enough to care. Our personal aims are to share our experiences over the past 30 years with valued customers and ensure our work is to 100% quality standards carried out by fully qualified tradesmen.
Our service is comprehensive; be it a slate repair, choked outlet or small re-roofing contract to felted, slated/tiled roofs and maintenance work.

Re-roofed block of 6 garages with hot torched bitumen felt. Split 6 ways between 6 tenants. Communal instruction and then dealt with tenants on individual basis which was great from an individual 'needs' and 'costing' point of view. Professional job. Very pleased with result. Before and after photos attached.

Jason and his team were excellent from start to finish. The communication was clear and quick with regards to any query I had throughout the job and even though some companies may have deemed my job to be too small (changing our garage roof and guttering work) the guys took obvious pride in their work and were efficient, thorough and cleaned up after they had finished too. I would recommend them and use them again.

Used GW&JS to replace the small flat roofs over two victorian dormers, replace fascia boards with plastic-faced boards for low maintenance, replace zinc gutters on sides of dormers, and check-over pitched roof section and replace broken/missing slates.
Removing the old flat roofs was a lot more work than thought. The old bitumen was firmly stuck to the roof deck.
Quality of the work was very good. Communications was excellent. Guy phoned me almost every morning for a status update.

The work was assessed and a quotation provided very promptly. The agreed commencement date was met and work progressed quickly. All the tradesmen were efficient, helpful and polite. When completed the site was left as found with no damage or debris of any kind.

First class worksmanship and attention to detail. A highly-experienced stonemason carried out the actual work and went the extra mile to ensure it was completed to his very high standards. Complete confidence in this construction company from start to finish, all aspects of the work from estimating to scheduling to completion were handled prompty, efficiently and to a high professional standard.

Very prompt service. Quoted within a couple of days of getting in touch and we're happy to wait for me to talk to my insurance company. Their quote was very competitive and they provided photos.
They kept in touch at all stages of the work and kept me informed as to when they could come. I can't recommend the company highly enough and, while I hope not to have to use them again, would have no hesitation in doing so.
