In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.

I have used this company on various occasions for different jobs Jason and his team provide a excellent service. I had a problem. With vermin work was done in attic and roof to resolve the problem . I would highly recommend this company. Already recommended to family and friends.

Prompt reply to email enquiry and able to attend quickly. Friendly approachable team with Alan and Frank who were thorough, efficient and explained what they were doing as they went. Comfortable to have them at the property. Able to fix issues at same visit - loose slates, gutter clean and fix, cracked lead. Recommended to me by a neighbour and very happy with service. Thank you

Leak in roof repaired promptly and another visit to change fascia on a flat roof which was preplanned.
Quotes provided quickly with excellent communication throughout.
Very easy company to deal with and I find them to be reliable and the work carried out to an excellent standard. Site cleared on completion.
Everyone is polite and friendly and you are kept up to date throughout.

I greatly appreciated a prompt response to a small roof leak. This was expertly evaluated and repaired. I have been very happy with several jobs done by GW&JS and they will definitely be my first call for any roof work. Jason' s communication is excellent and the roofer Alan is very experienced, capable and helpful. Thank you!

I discovered staining in my bedroom ceiling caused by a leak in my roof. I contacted GW & JS Construction, whom I have used several times before over the past decade, and was delighted that they were able to send someone round the following morning.
The next morning, at the time promised, Alan and a colleague arrived. I showed them the staining and they then set to work correcting the fault. On completion, they showed me photographs of the roof, before and after, explaining exactly what they had done. I’d also asked them to check the rest of the roof. They found several slates had slipped and secured them in place. Again, they showed me photographs of the work.
Approachable and competent, I have no qualms in recommending GW&JS Construction especially as trust in the company is so vital when it comes to roof repairs.

Repair of considerable wear and tear on our Edwardian stone built house built in 1905.
The company was very professional in its approach.
We were provided with numerous photographs of work needed and also again when work completed.
The team carrying out required repairs were excellent, on time, friendly and professional and anything that perhaps requiring extra work, in our case the
cupola was fully discussed before being undertaken.
We were also impressed by the trouble Jason took in keeping us fully up to date with progress and timing of when the team would arrive.
Our thanks to Jason Guy and the rest of the team for their enthusiasm and skill in completing work required.

I had a few slates sorted on the roof, and both of the guys who came were very polite and knowledgeable and didn't waste any time in getting on and getting it done. I have had work done before on a number of occasions and will continue to do so. Trustworthy and honest.

Following high winds and storm damage we checked the Trusted Trader website to garner possible roofers to carry out the repairs. Jason was quick to respond and took the time to run through possible solutions and to discuss time-frames for the work to be carried out. We felt comfortable with the approach he took on behalf of GW & JS Construction Ltd and the costings were broadly in line with other Trusted Trader Roofers we had approached. On this basis we went ahead. Alan and Frank turned up on the agreed date to commence the work. We were comfortable throughout that this felt that the job was being carried out in a professional manner. They kept the area tidy whilst they worked and we could see the amount of damage being repaired as the repairs progressed. As this was happening, Jason continued to keep us updated with any necessary information e.g. skip hire and work progress.
The work is now completed. Skip and scaffolding have been removed. We are delighted with the roofing repairs carried out and especially the manner by the whole team in how this was carried out. We would have no issue recommending. Once again Trusted Trader has come up trunps and appreciate the time individuals take leaving their recommendations and feedback on this website. We certainly benefited.

We needed 6 large ridge tiles plus several flat tiles replaced. Our job was dealt with promptly and the team were very professional from the moment I initially contacted them, to the completion of the job. We are really pleased with the neat workmanship too, would highly recommend.

After a winter storm we had a leaking roof, but were also aware of a broken down pipe, and damp. Jason was quick to investigate and also discovered areas of broken harling , and a blocked drain beneath the down pipe and misaligned rones . We had a formal quote within a day, and a high level timeframe for completion. This was exceeded due to Jason’s planning and his team ultimately arrived within a few weeks and completed within 2 days and the work has been proven to be excellent and successful.

Had an issue with a leak for a long time with no resolution from other roofing firms. Got in touch with this firm who actually answer the phone and your emails. They come out when arranged unlike many others who let you down and don't return calls/emails. This firm have been brilliant and sorted the issue. Work has been undertaken in a professional manner keeping you up to do with every step. Everything cleaned up afterwards. Price was fair and they are they're aren't going to rip you off. Don't waste your time ringing around various roofers for quotes. Just get in touch with these guys and you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend.

I was impressed by the initial evaluation and found Jason to be very knowledgeable and appreciated the time taken to discuss the issues. The work was done in good time and the workmen were very experienced. They completed the work to a very high standard and gave clear information about the problems found and the work carried out. They arrived at the time arranged and tidied after each day.

Jason was friendly, professional, and quick to respond to a problem of water ingress through our roof of our 1930s bungalow. As part of the survey visit he cleared debris that was clogging both the gulleys and gutters on our roof, without any charge. He was friendly, courteous and explained everything he was doing. I would not hesitate to use Jason and GW & JS again in future, and would wholeheartedly recommend his services.
