The directors of GW & JS Construction Ltd, have more than thirty years combined experience and expertise in the roofing & Building industry.
In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.

After a winter storm we had a leaking roof, but were also aware of a broken down pipe, and damp. Jason was quick to investigate and also discovered areas of broken harling , and a blocked drain beneath the down pipe and misaligned rones . We had a formal quote within a day, and a high level timeframe for completion. This was exceeded due to Jason’s planning and his team ultimately arrived within a few weeks and completed within 2 days and the work has been proven to be excellent and successful.

Had an issue with a leak for a long time with no resolution from other roofing firms. Got in touch with this firm who actually answer the phone and your emails. They come out when arranged unlike many others who let you down and don't return calls/emails. This firm have been brilliant and sorted the issue. Work has been undertaken in a professional manner keeping you up to do with every step. Everything cleaned up afterwards. Price was fair and they are they're aren't going to rip you off. Don't waste your time ringing around various roofers for quotes. Just get in touch with these guys and you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend.

I was impressed by the initial evaluation and found Jason to be very knowledgeable and appreciated the time taken to discuss the issues. The work was done in good time and the workmen were very experienced. They completed the work to a very high standard and gave clear information about the problems found and the work carried out. They arrived at the time arranged and tidied after each day.

Jason was friendly, professional, and quick to respond to a problem of water ingress through our roof of our 1930s bungalow. As part of the survey visit he cleared debris that was clogging both the gulleys and gutters on our roof, without any charge. He was friendly, courteous and explained everything he was doing. I would not hesitate to use Jason and GW & JS again in future, and would wholeheartedly recommend his services.

We had been advised that our roof needed attention from the aerial engineer, so we called GW&JS construction Ltd. Who responded quickly assessed the work required and provided a comprehensive quote. The roofers came and carried out the work, they were great, polite and worked away until the job was completed, we were then shown detailed photos of the work that they carried out .Happy to recommend, as they were recommended to us. Job well done

Jason assessed an initial roof problem I had - he was honest to say that removing moss and cleaning the roof would solve the problem. He didn't charge for coming round and making that assessment, which I appreciated and I was impressed with.
When we had another problem with the roof, I remembered this gesture so I called Jason and the work his team did was excellent.
Alan and Frank did an excellent job replacing broken tiles and patching up the roof ridges. They were efficient, professional and very good to deal with. I'd definitely recommend GW&JS.

We had work done on our roof to repair a zinc gully and replace loose and broken slates. Jason showed us photos of what needed done beforehand and Alan kept us well informed as the work progressed. We have a full set of photos of the work done. We were very impressed by the prompt replies to all our emails and by the professional standards of everyone involved. We would thoroughly recommend the services of GW & JS Construction Ltd.

Second time of using GW & JS Construction to repair leaks on slate roofs. Both times Jason was very quick to respond, explained the problems with supporting photos. The repairs were then carried out in a very speedy and effective manner. A profesional, friendly and trustworthy company.

Jason and Guy have looked after our roof for years and we have always been 100% happy with their work. Jobs have ranged from small gutter clearances to complete replacement of all slates. They are unfailingly friendly, reliable and professional, as are their team. We wouldn't trust anyone else!

Jason came round to inspect the issue a day or two after I called and then gave a quote for the works the following day. He let me know the lead time for the job which was also pretty much bang-on to the day work started.
Alan and Frank carried out the repairs and took multiple photos showing the before/during and after stages of the repair to indicate exactly what work had been carried out.
Would definitely recommend their services and I'll be giving them a call in the future should the need arise!

We are delighted with the service and grateful to Jason at GW & JS Construction Ltd for his quick response in coming out to inspect our roof which had been leaking. Jason turned up at the time stated, he was very professional and polite, inspected the roof, carried out the job in question and we have agreed to use him again to inspect another property.

Once again I am very happy to recommend Jason and his team.
The gable wall had storm damage, causing a couple areas of harling to be lost.
Jason promptly answered my email,came to check what had to be done the next day and work started soon after. This included organising scaffolding to allow safe access above the garage.
As usual Alan and Frank who carried out the repair,did a great job. Keeping me updated.All debris was removed and my drive left clean.
The scaffolding was taken down within a couple of days.

Recent galeforce winds led to an emergency situation for me. Part of a skylight had ended up lying in a flower bed in my back garden, and the rain was getting in to my loft. When I contacted Jason (having had work done by him a few years ago), he came the next day, put a temporary cover over the hole, and advised that all I needed was to order new glass to be set into the original cast-iron skylight frame. As previously, Jason was very courteous and helpful, and this time, he even refused payment for his visit. The result: he has set my mind at rest, and given me the pleasant experience of dealing with a charming and really kind person. He remains top of my list for any future work.

We needed roof slates to be replaced, and a gutter re-aligned. After I left a message, Jason called me back the same day, and visited the next. He sent on the quote on the day of the visit. Alan and Frank completed the work over two visits (afternoon, and first thing in the morning), and left the area very tidy.

Very much my go to people. Have used them for years, at home and business premises. They are efficient, skilful , helpful, prompt, kind and always their work has been of a high standard. Just removed my chimneys and sorted out cracked harling on the shoulders.

We have used GW & JS Construction on a number of occasions eg for chimney repairs, leaking roof round a velux, and found them to be highly professional and efficient. They are also very responsive, polite and courteous, even offering free advice and signposting during survey visits if the problem does not require their services. We have used this company for roofing and construction issues for a number of years and would highly recommend them.
