We have just had a new door. We were very happy with the company. Genuine guys, no hard sell, honest and reliable. Andy came and was knowledgeable about the different doors and their construction and suitability but left the decision to us. 2 guys arrived on time and were very polite. They took the time to do the job properly and explained what they were doing as they went along. They were very keen to make sure I was absolutely happy with everything. The final finish sealant and trims were made to measure. I think we got one of the cheaper doors and the quality of it is excellent so don't feel you have to go for the more expensive ones. They will give you good advice based on your needs and not try and sell you what you don't require.

Would highly recommend. New doors and windows fitted throughout. Windows and doors are high specification units. Cannot fault on service provided in any way ! If you are considering getting windows or doors I would strongly recommend Graeme and his Team. We got quotes from the usual suspects who advertise on TV and avoided like the plague due to their poor level of interest from their Sales Reps in relation to basic questions. I would have no hesitation in using again or recommending to anyone else !

GR services installed 3 windows and 2 doors at my home for a good price with no hard sell (which is definitely appreciated).

Guys were nice. Seem professional/ Came on time, made suggestions etc with what we should go with.
After doors installed, the frames installed were not the right ones (but more expensive so that is a bonus to us apparently, ultimately not what we asked for - but fine because they looked good).

The doors were left in poor state (lots of badly damaged plaster work, holes, door was a bit wonky). This is ok as things can go wrong but it was left as a finished job, so had to chase on it otherwise we'd have been treated as finished.
Called and owners and they agreed it wasn't good enough. Several more visits, work is now "finished" but I'm left with painting to redo which I had specifically asked about (I was told it would be a "finished job"), and the seal had to be redone so looks bumpy/uneven.
I can't be bothered with another call at this stage so will have to fix myself.

All in all, I would have been happy with price for a hassle free job, but one day turnaround turned into 4 visits, and painting still to be done in my own time.
Expensive given the service provided and inconvenience caused. Appreciate some of it was out of the company's control, but ultimately as the customer I still don't have a finished job and wouldn't use the company again unless they were the cheapest available and I was willing to finish it up myself.

Overall, average service but with a 5* price tag.

This is an exceptional company. They are incredibly knowledgable, efficient, polite, customer service is 2nd to none, and their after care is excellent. No job is too small or too big. They have even corrected a faulty product that i had fitted by another company, with no hassle. I have now used them twice for a variety of different door and window jobs. I will be using them in the future!

Great service, really happy with the speed that Graeme corresponds, much cheaper than what we were expecting for a front and back door with screen surround. On the day of fitting the boys arrived early, were happy to be left on their own and were so patient with my dad, who has dementia as he got ready to go out. All areas were cleaned and old doors and all other waste removed. I was phoned when the work was completed as well. Would definitely recommend especially if you are worried about relatives having to be in the home when workmen are around. I felt very relaxed and comfortable with the team that came to do the work.

GR Services installed a new door for us, replacing an old timber door that had seen better days. As well as being exceptional value, the team fitting the new door went over and above what was expected. In addition to being exceptionally tidy, whilst fitting the new door they took care of many gaps/joints/imperfections in the existing frames to leave the finish as tidy as possible. It's the small things that really make a difference and from start to finish Graeme and the team have been nothing short of first class. 100% recommend- you will not get better value or service anywhere else.

I have used GR Window & Doors twice now for supply and fit of windows to my home (16 in total). They were recommended to me by the trade.

On both occasions it has been straight forward, they have completed the work exactly as requested with no fuss and tidied up afterwards. The finish is very good and I would not hesitate recommending them.

We contacted Graeme regarding a repair on our windows. He got back to us straight away & organised a time to visit that suited us. On both occasions that they came they were reliable & on time. When the guys came out they were very courteous, polite & knowledgeable. They did an excellent job & it was very reasonably priced. Unlike the other 2 firms, GR Window & Door Specialists discussed the different options available and their pros and cons. With a very competitive price, I gave the work to Graeme and I am very pleased I did. Andy and his team fitted the windows in the time that they said they would take and left the rooms clean and tidy. Before leaving, Andy ensured that I was happy with the work and knew how to operate the windows. All in all a very professional result from a very professional company. I was recommend to Graeme Reid Services and accepted their estimate for supply and fit of Rock Door and supply of a window. I was very impressed with the products, the service and workmanship. I found the company reliable and the fitters were polite, friendly but professional. j have today recommended them to a friend. Excellent service from this company. My window was repaired on the day by Andy, who was quick and efficient, and very pleasant. Would not hesitate in using them again if something else goes wrong with my windows.

After receiving several quotes from various firms I decided to go with GR Window and Door because of their competitive prices and the fact that I could check the quality and design at their retail premises.

The manner of the salesperson who gave the initial quote was informative, and friendly. At no point did I feel pressured.

The fitting of the windows was very professional. Andy and his team were conscientious workers and took pride in what they do. Their work was of a very high standard. They worked steadily and kept me informed along the way. They cleaned up after themselves. When the job was completed Andy noticed a scratch on one of the panes of glass ( I would never have noticed it was so small) the pane of glass was ordered and replaced promptly. I was impressed by their integrity.

This company was a pleasure to deal with and I would definably recommend them. I will be needing doors replaced in the near future and will absolutely use this company again.

They did a great job. Really pleased with the quality and the price was very competitive. Workmen were polite, friendly and cleaned up after themselves.

Most importantly, for me, there was no hard sell when I asked for a quote. They came round and measured up, asked me for all the details needed and were done in less than an hour. Got back to me a couple of days later with the quote. No putting up with a salesman for the whole evening who says you can only get the discounted price if you sign up there and then.

We had original wood windows throughout the front of our villa flat and wanted to get PVC double-glazing but keep the look and feel of our heritage windows. Graeme suggested we replace our old windows with sash and case PVC, and we are very happy with the results. The service and the standard of the windows were all excellent. Graeme, Chris and Andy were all great to work with and patiently and knowledgably answered all our questions, and were very accomodating. The cost was better than all the other companies we looked at as well. We'd highly recommend GR Windows.

I needed a door handle on a tilt-slide balcony door replaced, and after being let down by the original installers, and the firm that replaced the handle 5 years ago, GR Window & Doors had the job completed with minimum fuss and maximum satisfaction. I was at my wits end after being let down, and would recommend and use these guys again.
