The whole experience with Fixable was great from start to finish. Prompt responses to phone contact for organising the job, Jim who came out to assess my shower problem, was pleasant and arrived when he said he would. He came up with an inventive solution to fix the difficulty with the damaged door in the cubicle and quickly returned the cubicle to working order. I’d definitely use Fixable again

My son moved into his place in Edinburgh and didn’t know who to phone to fix all his odd jobs. He thought he would get a handyman as there were lots of different things like electrics and joinery. I am so glad I phoned Fixable Ltd as they were so helpful on the phone, nothing was a problem and they turned up when they said they would. They came out and assessed the job and he waited a while dir them to start as they were so busy. They fitted - a padded headboard on the wall, new door furniture, new wardrobe handles, new wooden security gate, new skirting boards, tv on wall with sound bar, added a spot light, replaced ceiling spot lights in lounge and hall, made stable skirting boards and other bits and pieces. Would definitely recommend.

Steven did two jobs for us - he re-did the sealant around our shower and repaired our kitchen waste pipe.

He was polite, communicated everything clearly and arrived when he said he would. We're really happy with his work and to top it off he left it really tidy. We're really pleased with his work and will use him again.

A variety of work including supplying and fitting a built-in cabinet in the kitchen, replacing sealant, supplying and fitting a new shower scree, supplying and fitting two broken stays on sash and case windows and several other smaller jobs.
The work was done quickly and efficiently, at the agreed time. The operatives were pleasant and helpful, tidied away and removed any mess and completed all the work to a high standard.
I would have no hesitation of using Fixable again and have already recommended them to friends.

Fixable Ltd completed an installation on a set of kitchen taps which before work could begin had a few challenges but Steven methodically worked these through and found solutions in a fuss free manner providing confidence with utmost professionalism.
At the point of agreeing the job Jo very kindly offered an alternative lever type tap option which exactly matched what was actually required and these were fitted.
I cannot rate this team highly enough.
Yes there are other companies out there who provide services such as they do but I would urge you to contact Fixable Ltd first. You will not be disappointed.

We had a light fixture changed, a ceiling fan installed, a curtain pole/curtains put up, and two electrical sockets replaced.

We were very happy with all aspects of the service. Our emails were responded to promptly and we got booked in with ease. On the day, our handyman (sorry, didn’t catch his name!) was very friendly and efficient. I appreciate that he put down a mat to prevent as much dirt on the floor as possible.

Everything works perfectly and we would definitely recommend the company and return when we have more jobs needing done!

Part of my bathroom ceiling collapsed last year thanks to heavy rain and a damaged roof. It's taken several months to get the ceiling fixed. Many companies either don't acknowledge emails or they promise on the phone to come take a look and never show etc. It's beyond frustrating.

Fixable are totally different. My initial query was answered in less than an hour and Jo arranged for Jim to come take a look later that week. He arrived on time and explained the different repair options to me.

The estimate was very competitive and I booked the work for about a fortnight later.

Again, Jim arrived bang on time. He explained exactly what he was going to be doing. Unfortunately the damage to the ceiling was worse than anticipated which meant the original plan wasn't going to work. Jim quickly came up with an alternative and got the ok from me before proceeding. The work was completed quickly and I'm really pleased with the result. Jim cleaned up afterwards and apart from the excellent repair, you'd never know he'd been there!

I recently had various multi-trades work done to my flat such as, installing coving and ceiling rose, adding additional electrical wall sockets, removing and installing a new ducting box for extractors, removing artex on walls and replastering, replacing kitchen unit cornicing, removing an old water tank, and installing shelving in alcoves. I cannot thank Ian and his team enough for organising, managing and carrying out the work which was all done to a high standard. Throughout following initial contact via this webpage, visits to survey and review work to be carried out, arranging timescales, and scheduling tradesmen the whole process was well organised. When the work was being carried out, it was all done in a timely and tidy manner with minimum disruption, and everyone involved was very professional and worked to a high standard. Very impressed with the finished results and would highly recommend to anyone else requiring similar work to be done to their property.

Fitted a new oven and hob for us which was a lot more complicated than it sounds due to the size layout of our fitted kitchen. Gave good advice to overcome various problems and coordinated gas, electric and joinery work. Really good service, special thanks to Ian who went above and beyond to help.

Putting up bathroom cabinet and shower curtain rail. Steven made sure I was happy with height and positioning etc before starting the work. He was a lovely guy and nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending the company and I already intend to use them for some painting work in the near future.
