Gary fitted new internal doors (most of which were not standard sizes), replaced the skirting boards and door facings. We found Gary to be very reliable, professional, skilled and a very tidy worker. This was the first time we used Gary, but we would not hesitate to book him again or in fact recommend him to others.

Gary from First Fix fitted a new bath at our property. The workmanship was second to none and Gary was quick, reliable and very tidy. I would absolutely use First Fix in the future and recommend their services to anyone!

My kitchen refit was undertaken by Gary. He was hard working and considerate and his work is of a good quality. He was helpful in making some changes as we went along and I am pleased with the overall finish to my kitchen. He also was great at leaving my property clean and tidy as he cleared up!

Got a few new bathroom glass shower screens sourced and fitted, which replaced the old ones. Geat job - will definitely be in touch with Gary again for any future work.

Gary and his team recently fitted smoke alarms, repaired a radiator leak and fitted a new gas hob. We can recommend this firm unequivocally.

1. Removing kitchen unit to fit tumble drier. To maximise storage Gary also fitted a narrow pull out unit and an access panel to corner void through sink cupboard. Very imaginative and works well. He also coordinated an electrician to fit double socket and repair pendant light within the time frame.
2. Fitted 2 tv brackets to lathe and plaster walls which needed additional panels for safety. Very neat job.
3. The oven has never fitted flush with the kitchen units since new kitchen was installed. Gary added wood inserts to either side of oven and used long screws and oven now where it needs to be. Wish we’d found Gary a while ago to fit the whole kitchen!
4. Sourced and fitted new spray tap with no mess or leak.
Gary is very skilled at what he does and is an excellent problem solver. He is methodical and organised and does a clean and tidy job.

We hired Gary to remove a kitchen/living room wall and fit a steel support beam after being let down at the last minute by another builder when we had other works scheduled that were relying on it. Gary and Kev done an incredible job and also noticed an issue with the plans for the works that hadn't been considered by the previous builder, architect or structural engineer before he'd walked in the door. Amazed at the amount of work they managed in such little time too, and were super friendly and lovely to have around. Would recommend Gary to anybody looking for work done (and already have to work and friends!)

Gary fitted some new skirting boards, a coat hanger and a shelf. He also found time to fix our loose door lock as an extra, free of charge. All of the jobs were done faultlessly and with real craft. Would highly recommend him

Toilet flush went and unfortunately the whole unit was encompassed within a wooden cabinet requiring joinery skills to access toilet and then plumbing skills to fix flush. Gary did both and left the unit with a removable front should any issue arise again. Many tradesmen refused to help and Gary came out within days of contact. Very much appreciated and would recommend.

Gary replaced rotten wood on the outside of my dormer window, removed the old plaster from the inside of my outside cupboard and arranged for it to be replastered and replaced the door.
I am really pleased with all the work done both by Gary and Kevin who did the plastering. Gary has also recommended people to do other work I need done.
My only issue was the time it took to have the work done after the initial visit which meant it was being done when the weather wasn’t so good. However, I guess that’s what happens when the person you want to do the work is a good tradesman and he’s very much in demand!

Gary and his team installed a complete new bathroom. They also replaced a rotten floor, as well as doing some electrical repairs and redecorating our whole flat. From first contact to completion, Gary kept us informed about progress and we had complete confidence in him. We will certainly use Gary and his team again.

Gary provided us with a very professional service from enquiry stage to completion of job and the final product (deck step) is of a high standard. Due to time restrictions we were unable get other quotes for comparison purposes. However, we can say that he was very accommodating to our circumstances, did not rush the job (which although small was tricky) and left the site absolutely as he found it, which is rare. We would be happy to contract him again if needed in future.

We had our bathroom floor repaired after long term water damage.
