We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

Campbell and his colleague done a great job installing a new fuse board which I needed to get my EICR certificate before letting out my property.
They were extremely efficient in getting a fair quote back to me and providing the certificate.
They also gave great advice and left the house spotless when they left.
Would highly recommend!

Prompt & professional communication, and a job extremely well done. Energize Electrical was great to work with from start to finish, and the end result was a great new electric towel rail. They provided text updates leading up to the appointment and also checked in afterward to ensure I was happy with the work, which was really appreciated. Trust the reviews!

Installation of a microwave oven.
Campbell from the company installed the microwave which a previous installer was unable to accomplish. When we contacted the company about the issue, they came back to me within the hour to confirm that they were able to attend the following day and gave me a time window of when they would arrive and Campbell duly arrived within the time slot. Campbell professionally carried out the job with no fuss.
I would recommend Energize Electrical for any electrical work.

Electric Central Heating installed new boiler and rotary isolator switch next to boiler.
Supply and fit new cable from boiler to fuse box and updating fuse board to accomodate

Installation of power points for new electric heaters, replacing our defunct gas central heating system. New dedicated radial circuit, new sockets and spur switches. Replace existing consumer unit with larger capacity, full RCD and surge protection. Campbell and Jordan were a pleasure to have working in our home. The lads turned up on time, wearing their smart, custom-branded workwear. They were polite, helpful, hard-working and very obliging with both advice, and odd jobs not included in the original quote! I was very impressed with how promptly Neil at Energize Electrical responded so promptly to our initial enquiry, and all the communication thereafter. In summary, from our earliest dealings, through to completion of the work at our home, Energize Electrical were a pleasure to deal with. Professional, efficient, obliging, and super neat and tidy - we were very impressed and goes without saying, happy with their work! That's why we have no hesitation in recommending them highly. It's no surprise to mention theirs would be our first point of contact, for any electrical work in future. Thanks again guys, much appreciated!

We have had a number of jobs recently completed by Energize - sockets in the attic, an outdoor socket, extractor fan install. Campbell and Jordan were great - always on time, friendly, helpful, very tidy and good at explaining what was being done - we also found the costs to be very reasonable. Neil was great on the admin side and making sure we were happy with the work and it was arranged at a time that suited us- a great company to deal with and one we will definitely be using again.

I highly recommend Energize Electrical. I had an EV charger installed and every aspect of the installation from contacting my electrical supplier, sourcing the charger and completing the work was done very quickly and effectively. The cost was bang on and to top it off they are really nice to deal with.
