We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.

We required a light fixed in our Animal Receiving Centre Vet room fixed urgently due to an upcoming audit as it had stopped working unexpectedly last week.
After making the enquiry on Trusted Trader Neil was quick to contact me to discuss the details and to organize an initial inspection of the fitting before then quoting me to replace the strip light.
Once the quote was received we quickly okayed the work and Neil organized his colleague Collin to attend our site the next afternoon to complete the work in plenty of time for our Audit.
Once Collin arrived the next day he quickly got to work on the light to discover that it did not require as much work as initially thought meaning the light was fixed for much cheaper than originally quoted for..
I would highly recommend this business as the friendly communication, quick response time for both organizing the initial appointment and receiving the quote was outstanding. I would recommend this business to anyone !

Installed a new 7 way fuse board and carried out various repairs - eg replacement pendant.
Campbell arrived when he had arranged to do so, tidied up when finished and gave good feedback once the job was complete ( this also included a recommendation to contact Scottish Power). He was professional and polite at all times.
I would use this company again and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family .

We have used Energize Electrical twice (installation of car charging unit and then installation of electrics to a garden room)
On both occasions they turned up when they said they would both to quote and complete the works and the work is of a high standard and everyone we have dealt with has been easy to deal with and really tidy too.
No hesitation in recommending Neil and his team.

His communications were professional - arrived at his initial visit when he said he would, explained what he would be required to do and submitted a breakdown of costs estimate.
The work and tidy up were completed very well. Campbell and Neil communicated both by email and phone thought-out this clear and transparent process.
Their work was excellent, their approach was courteous and professional and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Had a full Home rewire performed by Energize in April. Right from the start Neil was helpful and transparent about the scope of work and was able to arrange plastering and some additional joinery work needed which all ran simultaneously. Campbell and his team did a great job - really appreciated his eye for detail, anticipating any issues and leaving things clean and tidy. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Energize Electrical again and would highly recommend.

I recently had an EV charger installed by Energize Electrical. It was a seamless process from start to finish with excellent communication throughout. I always got a response to my e-mails promptly often by a phone call. I was really pleased with the installation and the quality of the work was excellent . They phoned to check I was happy with the work, which I was. Overall, an excellent experience and I would highly recommend.

I had an EV charger installed by Energize Electrical. From initial phone call which provided a full understanding of what was involved (a lot!) to choosing the right charger to doing an onsite inspection and finally to a faultless, quick and tidy installation, I cant fault the service and would highly recommend, especially for people who are new to EV’s and the terminology used.
I would also add that their electronic comms is excellent with emails tracked, visit reminder prompts to quotation to accept is all done online easily.

Would highly recommend Energize Electrical. We have received excellent customer service from initial enquiry to product installation - Neil has been fantastic at communicating with us throughout the process, very friendly and professional and answered all the questions we had. The team who installed the product were great too and have done fantastic job. And the product, Hypervolt charger, is great too!
