Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic and commercial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.
We will constantly develop and enhance our skills with up-to-the-minute industry information to ensure that we’re able to apply maximum expertise to every project that we are part of. Neil, Campbell and John were excellent in guiding me, helping me to choose the right options and then installing my EV Charge Point. Great comms throughout - so nice to get phone calls to discuss the details, rather than email or WhatsApp! - speedy to help, reasonable in costs, and clean & tidy. They also cleaned up after themselves! Thank you Energize Electrical!

We needed to replace some old downlights with a single pendant light. A small piece of work but still handled with care and professionalism. Great communication, efficient job scheduling, and quality workmanship. They left the area nice and tidy as well. This is the second job they’ve done for us and I would not hesitate to use them again.

A fuse tripped on Friday evening and when I reset it, although power was restored, a light on the fuse was flashing yellow instead of a solid red.
I sent a contact form to Energize on Saturday morning not expecting a reply until after the weekend, but Neil happened to be in the office and called me straight away! He said he would speak to his team on Monday morning and call back with a date to visit. He called at 8am on Monday and said Campbell would come to check the problem that afternoon, which he did. That is first class service.

We have used them a handful of times over the last few years and they are one of the only traders that we keep coming back to.

Changing lights for a classroom, from incandescent to LED. Amazing communication, before, during and after the works to make sure everything is OK. They take care of disposing the old fittings too, which is really helpful.

I can't rate Energize Electrical highly enough for there help with my Tesla wall charger. Neil was quick to reply and offer advice and always happy to respond to any query.
The guys that came to fit the new charger were friendly, efficient and quick. They also helped me set everything up and checked that it was all working before they left.

A new fuse board was fitted, new lights (spots) in the kitchen, fire/smoke/heat alarms fitted and other smaller jobs completed to our satisfaction by Campbell and his team. Neil kept us up to date with dates and times for the jobs so we could prepare, explaining any delays.

First time using this company and customer service has been excellent from start to finish. Very prompt reply with estimate to initial request of problem with downlighting in my en suite. Advised that replacement of the 3 lights was the best solution. Appointment made to suit my availability and workmen arrived in the time frame given. The guys were very polite and efficient

I was delighted with the quality of work from Energize Electrical. Campbell fitted a 10 useable way fuse board with full RCBO & Surge Protection. He was very professional and undertook the work to a high standard. I would have no hesitation in using this company again. Highly recommend.
