We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

Spoke to Neil about a small electrical job I needed done, and he was very friendly and helpful. The job was booked in and a reasonable price given and accepted.
Neil kept in touch and sent a reminder the day before the work was due to be carried out. The electrician arrived on time and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. I then received a call after the work was finished to make sure I was happy with the job.
Organising the work was very easy and they carried out the work exactly when they said they would and to a high standard.
I have no hesitation in recommending Energize Electrical and will certainly be using them again.

Energize have recently completed a variety of works - fitting wall and ceiling lights, replacing socket and switch fascias, fault finding and replacement of LED strips and towel rail heating element.
Neil is very responsive, always answering calls and keeping me informed throughout. Campbell and his colleague are very polite, tidy, helpful and the quality is excellent.
After 6 years of renovations it is refreshing to find electricians who are reliable, pleasant and take pride in their work.

Great service from Neil and Campbell! We recently purchased our first home and have uncovered lots of renovation work needing done. Neil put us in touch with lots of contractors to help us get the work done and then arranged for a wire repair to be done quickly, professionally and for a reasonable price. There was clear communication throughout the entire process. We look forward to working with them again in the future!

As a landlord, I needed work done in one of my properties. These guys came in at a much lower cost than I was quoted by the letting agency. In the end, the amount of work needing done was less than the quote allowed for so I was charged accordingly. So basically, my opinion is that these guys have a high level of trust that the price quoted (and charged is fair). Neil keeps you informed at each stage of the workflow and the nice touch is the "Thank you for your business" call on completion of the work. It is a rare thing for a business to make you feel like a valued customer.
In future, I'll make sure to contact Neil for a quote if any work is needed in my properties or at home.

Campbell, Neil and Jordon recently retired my new kitchen. They were prompt to respond to my enquiry, Came out to see the job and discuss my requirements as well as making suggestions for things to improve my layout and design. They arrived on time to complete the works, Tidied up all rubbish as they went and left a fantastic job! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and will be using them on future projects.

I have been looking for someone to install my EV charger and I could not ask for any better service than Energize Electrical (Scot) Ltd. After contacting the office, Neil phoned me straight away, explained the whole process, organized installation date and kept on updating me regularly. Reasonable cost and speedy service. Campbell came as planned to install the charger, and what a fantastic job he did. The work is done professionally, very neat and tidy. Highly recommended for their outstanding service and exceptional customer care from start to finish. I will definitely use their service again.

Had these guys in to do a survey of my newly purchased flat. Whilst they’ve identified more problems than I originally hoped for, they’ve fixed a few already and they did a good job helping me understand what was urgent and what can wait.

Neil, Campbell and John were excellent in guiding me, helping me to choose the right options and then installing my EV Charge Point. Great comms throughout - so nice to get phone calls to discuss the details, rather than email or WhatsApp! - speedy to help, reasonable in costs, and clean & tidy. We needed to replace some old downlights with a single pendant light. A small piece of work but still handled with care and professionalism. Great communication, efficient job scheduling, and quality workmanship. They left the area nice and tidy as well. This is the second job they’ve done for us and I would not hesitate to use them again.

A fuse tripped on Friday evening and when I reset it, although power was restored, a light on the fuse was flashing yellow instead of a solid red.
I sent a contact form to Energize on Saturday morning not expecting a reply until after the weekend, but Neil happened to be in the office and called me straight away! He said he would speak to his team on Monday morning and call back with a date to visit. He called at 8am on Monday and said Campbell would come to check the problem that afternoon, which he did. That is first class service.
