Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic and commercial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

Neil at Energize was very easy to deal with - responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. The electrician who attended was also very good, understood the problem and identified what needed to be done. And then did the job well. Everything you need from someone providing a service that you have no expertise in. They'll be on my list of contractors from here.

Would highly recommend energize electrical - had recently moved house, and having found a few issues, wanted to get a full EICR alongside a few other small jobs.
The team at energize were easy to get in touch with, and we were able to get the work booked in within the week, and the subsequent remediation work booked in the week after. They sent a quote upfront, and the pricing was fair
The communication from the team was top notch, letting us know when they'd be coming, and were easy to rebook if a day didn't suit. After the first day, the team had found an issue that they couldn't resolve then and there - they let us know about it, and came back the very next day to get it sorted.
They did all the work to a high standard, and were clean, tidy and conscientious around the house.
Overall, would highly recommend the team!

Energize Electrical Installed a car charger at my property. They arrived on time and installed the equipment quickly and efficiently. The lads got on with the job , left no mess and all completed in 3 hours. I would definitely recommend this company to install your car charger.

I needed an outdoor security light replaced. Neil from Energize responded very quickly and was able to complete the work within a week. The electrician was very efficient and pleasant. Neil called afterwards to check I was satisfied with the work. I have used Energize many times and continue to be delighted with their service.

New LED spotlights, new towel rail with timer.
An electrician came to assess the work and give a quote.
A time was arranged to do the work and they kept to that.
They did a really good job and explained what they were doing. They checked that I was happy with everything and that I understood how it all worked before they left.

I have used these guys a few times and they are excellent. Today they replaced 4 light fittings. They turn up on time, work efficiently and get the job done with the minimum of fuss. Communication is top drawer too. Highly recommend.

They were quick to respond, arranged a site visit almost immediately, listened properly to what I was trying to achieve, and gave practical advice rather than trying to push a standard solution.
The job itself involved running cable now while I had floor access available, with the charger installation to follow at a later date. The team arrived on time, talked me through the approach, kept me informed as they worked, and were happy to answer questions along the way. The work was completed neatly, with good attention to detail, and they tidied up properly afterwards.
Overall, Energize were responsive, professional and easy to deal with. The personal touch and willingness to think through the best solution made the difference for me. I’d be very happy to use them again and recommend them to others.

Having used a number of other electricians in the past, whose work we were not very happy with, it was a breath of fresh air to deal with Energize Electrical. Communications were excellent from start to finish, the work was carried out to a high professional standard, and in a very timely manner. I'm glad to have found a reliable electrician now, and will be sure to use them for our future electrical needs. Highly recommended.

We had an EV charger fitted by Energize. They promptly visited and gave quote. No pressure. They were punctual and completed work on time. Very happy with the finish as cable had to travel through cupboards and rooms before exiting to our driveway. Would use them again!

The work done was really up to the standard I thought that it would be, having had contact with them to sort things out. They arrived at the set time,and both of the workers just knew what needed doing ,and in what order. The electric was not even off for too long,and all the freezer things just stayed frozen. THe house,and garage were left as if noboddy had been in doing any work, which is ideal. Thanks for being so careful with things.

I From start to finish, This was excellent work with which I was completely satisfied. At every stage of the work, the company communicated with me and I knew exactly when they were coming to carry out the work. The room in which they were working was left in the condition in which they found it.

Installation of two light fittings into an old wiring installation, including modification of circuit wiring and earthing.
Energize were quick to respond to the initial enquiry. Communication throughout was clear and they were able to slot me into a cancellation to bring forward the works. Installer, Jordan, was efficient and job done right first time. Follow up from management team to make sure I was happy.
