Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic and commercial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.
We will constantly develop and enhance our skills with up-to-the-minute industry information to ensure that we’re able to apply maximum expertise to every project that we are part of. Replacement bathroom extractor fan fitted this afternoon - excellent, quick and clean work. Very good comms throughout too from booking the work to completion. I’ve no hesitation in recommending Energize Electrical and will be returning to them for any future work.

I had new LED lighting for my kitchen units and two new 5 foot LED lights for my garage which were supplied and fitted by Campbell and Jordan and I was delighted with their work.

Energize completed an EICR and associated repairs for our new home. They completed repairs including repairing broken lights and sockets, upgrading fuse board and installation of new plug sockets. Neil and Campbell were both great, clearly communicating and explaining options and work to us. All work was completed to a high standard. Would highly recommend.

We needed an upgraded electrical supply plus fitting for a new cooker and were delighted that our first choice, Energize Electrical, were able to fit us in during the very busy run up to Christmas. We also needed to replace a failed bathroom extractor fan. Campbell visited us in advance to check our current set up and to discuss our options. As before Neil's excellent communication then kept us fully up to date. The work was again done efficiently, politely and professionally on the day they promised. An all round excellent service.
As before, Energize did another great job for us. Many thanks to Neil, Campbell and the rest of the team. You absolutely saved our Christmas. We again heartily recommend Energize Electrical.

We had Energize come out and do an EICR, fit a new board, put some new smoke/heat/Co2 detectors and replace around 40 down lights.
Top job, very pleasant and hardworking chaps who came to do the work. Excellent communication throughout and very accommodating given we had a newborn in the house.
Would happily recommend and use their services again in the future.

Second time used these guys. This occasion was to install kitchen appliances. Having capped the gas, the induction hob needed a new circuit which they laid under the dinning room, through the lounge and across the hallway. All this was to avoid taking up some of our laminate flooring. They worked methodically and took their time to ensure a satisfactory outcome. The oven that John Lewis were unable to install because of the location of the gas pipe was also installed with little notice. To perform this extra job at such short notice and so close to Christmas was greatly appreciated. It reflects their commitment to great customer service and is why they are my ‘go-to’ company for anything electrical. I highly recommend them.

Have recently had a few jobs completed by Campbell and the team. They were professional, punctual, patient and considerate. They kindly answered any questions we had, and Campbell even returned to complete additional work (that came to light in a safety inspection) on a Friday (his day off) so as not to keep us waiting!
Arranging the work was easy as Neil is very quick to respond. He was especially kind to fit in the work at short notice as it was time dependant and he worked around our tight schedule.
