We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

Decided to go for an EV charger on a Sunday afternoon. Made and enquiry and was contacted within an hour. Monday morning, had a site visit to assess the job. The quote was inline with what I was expecting from various bits of online research. The speed of response was impressive and I decided to commit. A couple of weeks the later, the job has been done to an excellent standard. Happy to recommend.

Neil and his team have done an excellent job installing 2 x 3 phase sockets as well as a 240v socket. Their communication from the initial enquiry to the finished job has been brilliant.
Campbell and Jordon were great on site proving their expertise and executing what was required with no fuss or disruption to our daily workings.
A pleasure to have this company on site and look forward to using Energize Electrical (Scot) Ltd again in the future.

I came across energize electrical when reviewing approved local EV charger installers to have a new charger installed at a new build. They appeared to have high ratings and a solid reputation as well as the services we needed.
I can attest that this reputation is well founded. Neil and his team were highly professional. You can tell that customer service and integrity appears to be at the forefront of this team.
I would use their team again in a heartbeat.

I had a shaving point, a network cable, and replacement security lights fitted. The visit fo the quote was on time and we discussed the issues and potential solutions which I was happy with.

Energize Electrical were great throughout. They responded to the initial web query very quickly and came over within a few days to provide a quote after visiting the house. They were very knowledgeable and the communication was excellent, offering a good choice of kit and explaining the pros and cons. The quote was competitive and they undertook the installation within 3 weeks. They arrived on time, keeping us informed of progress and working out the best location for installation, and switching off the electricity for a minimal period. They left the job spotlessly clean and followed up with calls to check everything was working OK. They were superb throughout and I can recommend them in the highest possible terms.

The installation was completed to a very high standard, with great attention to detail and clear communication throughout. Everything was explained properly, the area was left spotless, and the charger works perfectly.

Adding a complement to my earlier review. After the job was complete to satisfaction, I was contacted again by Campbell who noticed an electrical fault on the appliance that was taken away, suggesting to make adjustments on the installation to avoid similar safety issues in the future. This was done promptly on the next day, free of charge. Excellent service quality and professionalism.

I reached out to Energize Electrical looking for a quote for interconnected smoke alarms in my new flat. I got a call back within 10 minutes of the email enquiry and had a great chat with Neil who explained it all to me after asking a few questions about the property. The quote was sent quickly and I was able to get booked in at their next available slot. The engineer arrived promptly and was done within 30 minutes, disconnecting and removing my old wired fire alarm and installing 2 fire alarms, a hear alarm and a CO2 alarm. Neil they called afterward to make sure I was happy with the work. I reached out to Energize Electrical because of the countless positive reviews and I can see why they have them. I would use them again should I ever need electrical work.
