We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

Neil and the team were excellent. The job we had was complicated with a lot of moving parts and steps we needed. They communicated at every step and made sure our requirements were being met. Every step was talked through and we knew exactly what was going on when. This is I think the 4th time we've used Energize Electrical and would use again.

EV charger installed. I was slightly worried about the cable run but Campbell and Jordan did a great job. Neil’s communication was spot on and I will be sure to use them in the future.

We had an old and faulty halogen downlighting system in our kitchen that we inherited from the previous owner. Energize bought it up to standard with new LED lighting, using variable light adjusting bulbs and bezels that made it a very professional job and us, very happy customers. Will certainly be using Energize again and they'll be going in the book as our Edinburgh local electricians to go to.

Non-functioning overhead light fitment in garage. Very quick response to my request for help, with repair carried out speedily and successfully to my entire satisfaction. I would definitely recommend this trader, and their very helpful and caring staff, to others.

I used Energize Electrical for an electrical survey before a flat purchase. Communication was excellent and the survey was carried out efficiently on the agreed date and time. I got the result & quotation for remedial work very quickly and this really helped me make an informed decision about the flat purchase.

They arrived at the time they said, did the job they said they would perform at the price that was agreed. The work they performed was done with out fuss and to what appears to be a high standard. certainly nothing obvously wrong from lymans perspectie. End of the day all you can ask for with any trade is to do what they agreed to do. They certainly earn my trust.

I Contacted Energise to review our fuse box and electrics and was booked in for the following week. Campbell and Jordan arrived promptly within 5 mins of arrival time. Campbell took time to outline the process and access needed. They both worked quickly and effectively with minimal disruption. Checking everything. They removed obsolete wiring, marked clearly every cable in the fuse box for easy identification and checked all sockets were in working order. Finally the gave us a full verbal report and recommendation on further work for us to consider. Finally they cleared up and left the house as they found it. They will be my first port of call for any further electrical work needed and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Energize replaced two bathroom extractor fans for us. They communicated really well with us beforehand by email and over the phone and arranged a quote and appointment very quickly. On the day, the guys were really quick and left everything clean and tidy, we are really happy with the work they did and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

Energize Electrical carried out some work in my house to replace an old fuse board, fix a fault in the kitchen and box in some wires in the attic. All done very quickly and professionally with great communication and aftercare. They came recommended my a friend and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Campbell and his colleague done a great job installing a new fuse board which I needed to get my EICR certificate before letting out my property.
They were extremely efficient in getting a fair quote back to me and providing the certificate.
They also gave great advice and left the house spotless when they left.
Would highly recommend!

Prompt & professional communication, and a job extremely well done. Energize Electrical was great to work with from start to finish, and the end result was a great new electric towel rail. They provided text updates leading up to the appointment and also checked in afterward to ensure I was happy with the work, which was really appreciated. Trust the reviews!
