Eco Sash and Case

We got EcoSash to upgrade our single glazed windows to double glazing. Unlike other companies, they advised that we could retain the current frame and fit double glazing glass at a very reasonable price and without the need to put scaffolding to the 3rd floor. Other quotations we got at the time were three times the price we paid with Eco Sash. The team was on time and the quality of the work excellent! Joiners did a brilliant job, left the house the same way as before they started, and the painters we also excellent! We have noticed a massive difference in terms of heat retention, reduced use of heating and of course on the window condensation. Overall excellent service from Lindsay and the whole team, would highly recommend them.

The work all went smoothly and both the joinery and painting teams were very neat and tidy as well as efficient/professional and very pleasant to deal with. Apart from a minor hiccup over the kitchen window all the work was very well done and the guys were excellent. The living room windows were stained, not painted, and that was a very good match to the rest of the woodwork. I am very happy with the work done and have already recommended the firm to a neighbour.

I had double glazed units put into my original sash windows. The windows were carefully prepared and the finish is excellent. All the people involved were well trained and took pride in their work.

We have had double-glazing installed throughout our Category B Listed flat with the slimline glazing put into existing six-pane sashes. The price looked high at the start but considering the man-hours required, the high quality of the installation and the excellent paint work at the end, this represented very good value. There was quite a wait to get the job started but I see this as a sign of a business that is not over-trading: it was well worth the wait for a good quality job by capable tradesmen.

Eco Sash and Case did a great job double glazing our sash windows, and repainting them. The guys are very professional and nice to have around. Communication was generally good although a bit of chasing up re dates was required from time to time.

We had 3 windows replaced, 2 traditional sash and case and the third a more complicated window which had started life as a sash and case but a long ago house conversion had turned into something else. From the first contact with the office, through estimates, measuring, fitting and painting Eco Sash and Case were a delight to work with. Efficient communication, courteous and very tidy joiners and painters. We are very pleased with the end result particularly the tricky window.

Eco Sash & Case delivered an outcome for our old (1876) sash windows that was both affordable and transformative in its results. We opted for a refurbishment, which was guided by the survey provided as part of the free quote from ES&C. This was informative, detailed and gave us the confidence to move forward with our choice. We had previous concerns that our windows were beyond repair, and to have the reassurance was great.
The experience of having the work done? I can only express good things regarding the staff involved; with both the actual refurb and the painters that followed. They were courteous, excellent in their updates and general communication, and professional. Any unseen issues were dealt with - nothing was too much trouble.
I am now left with fully functioning, stunning looking sash and case windows. Returned back to their Victorian best.
I will be using ES&C again when it is time to touch up the frames.

Refurbishment of original sash and case windows. I wanted to retain the original windows and the work done has made them look like new. No more rattling or ridiculous draughts. I have all new brass fittings and the paintwork is excellent. From the office to the joiners and the painter everyone was extremely professional, explaining everything as they went and obviously keen to do a good job.
