We have used this company for several years, for general roof repairs and maintenance. They have good knowledge and can give advice regarding what needs done, and all work has always been done thoroughly and professionally.

EQB came to carry out remedial work on our roof. We had a large amount of moss and water seeping in. We have just had surveyors to assess the house in preparation for it going on sale, and they confirmed that three years after the work was completed, the attic is still completely dry.

We also used EQB more recently to fix the television aerial afte it was damaged in a gale. They were able to fix the issue within 24 hours.

We would recommend the firm to anyone else requiring roofing work.

When I needed to have the lintel above the garage door replaced I found an advert for Edinburgh Quality Builders in the Dell Directory.

I telephoned them to get an estimate. They came very promptly the next day and explained to me what needed to be done.

The written estimate came equally promptly and seemed to me to be very well set out.

The work was going to take several days as the plaster had to dry between the various stages.

The men were friendly and helpful, came on time, worked hard, cleared everything away as they finished each stage and completed the job in the time stated.

I would certainly recommend this firm for membership of the Edinburgh Trusted Trader scheme.

As soon as I moved into my flat I had a problem with water getting in through the roof, into my kitchen and stairwell causing a lot of damage. At least three roofing companies had come out, none could identify the problem and had no suggestions to fix it. EQB came out and were the first company I trusted. Richard explained everything fully and in simple language I could understand. The initial work they carried out was successful, however it became apparent that my neighbours were also experiencing the same issue. EQB were contacted again and carried out extensive work along all three properties, sorting the issue once and for all. They are proffesional, courteous and meticulous in their work. They do not overcharge and I was confident throughout my dealings with them that I had made the right decision in choosing them for the job. They clean up all mess after themselves and communication with them is easy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or hire them again if more work needs done in the future.

My previous builder/roofer retired after 20 years and i had to find a new one.

Friendly and very helpful. Undertook work expeditiously and happy to demonstrate exactly what was required by direct inspection and detailed explanation. Constructed their own scaffolding. Overall a very good experience with no extras added to the original estimate.

I used EQB for a roof repair carried out privately in a communal stairway. They came recommended by a factor managing a flat in the stair. EQB work was very good and timely and I'd use them again

EQB are very customer focussed . We have used the firm for both large jobs, including re-roofing a house and smaller jobs associated with roofing and guttering both personally and commercially. Always happy to put themselves out in event of an emergency and also are reliable hard working for scheduled jobs.

EQB Ltd have been used by my firm for about four years. They have also been reliable to work with and will go above and beyond what we ask if required.

They have been used for small repairs from £90 replacing down pipe section to new roofs at £55k + and have always delivered a great service.

If they do find an issue then they are prompt to let you know so you can review what needs to be done. Equally if there is an issue with their work they are quick to return to site and resolve the issue.

Their quotes are very good striking a good balance of details, photos and H & S documentation.
