Had work done by the company a few years ago and have had no problems with it. Called them again when leak in roof noticed. Came and inspected roof, wasn’t urgent but came a few weeks later and completed the job. Detailed report given of work required and a fair price quoted. Good communication throughout and very pleasant workmen. Would recommend.

Painted cast iron gutters and downpipes. Punctual, courteous, and carried out work efficiently and on schedule.

Unblocked downpipe and removed a small tree that had started to grow on another downpipe. All this was done on the morning after my phone call and at very reasonable cost. I hope to use this company for further external pipe work and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roofer.

I have worked with Edinburgh Quality Builders for many years. They have undertaken various works from all slate repairs to more complex re pinning of a gable walls, fallowing storm damage . EQB dealt expertly with a long standing leak in the roof of a Victorian Edinburgh house that had previously been missed and kept returning to spoil paint and plasterwork. In addition, the freak storm rains of August 11 had found another ingress for rainwater that damaged a ceiling. EQB diagnosed and fixed the problem here,too.
Prompt, responsive and professional, they also, reassuringly, provided photos both of the problems they identified and the repairs they carried out.

Excellent: can't recommend them highly enough: EQB put a new roof on the mansion block, where we have a top floor flat. A leaky chimney was also repaired and loose slats replaced. We had a very reasonable quote - not an estimate - and a 20 year manufacturer's guarantee. Richard was happy to answer dozens of questions about the job, he always called back the same day if anyone left a message. The work was done on time and we now have a fabulous new roof for the approaching winter. No stresses or strains, just 15 satisfied flat owners.

Richard and his team accessed the issue and provided us with a quote. After that they came over and took care of everything. Very meticulous and tidy, they completed the job in two days just before Christmas.

We tried for years to sort our leaky rooftop terrace. The only options found were untenable based on time, cost and the level of disruption. EQB Roofing came up with a solution that was relatively quick to install, without disruption to the business, looks much better than what we had before and comes with a 30 year guarantee, contributing to its cost-effectiveness. This was 18 months ago and we are delighted with it. Since then they have solved a number of other building issues, the latest being a leak that once investigated, exposed rotten joists that needed urgent attention with the introduction of steel supports. In little over a week from first discovering this, the work was complete. Over the last 18 months they have proved repeatedly that they are not only excellent builders and roofers, but are problem-solvers who can think outside the box. They have also backed up their ideas with work that is completed in a timely manner, fitting in with the considerable needs of our business. They are also very pleasant to deal with.

The work ended up taking four days, which was longer than expected, though admittedly this was partly caused by bad weather. In any case, I am happy with the standard of the work and the professional manner in which it was carried out.
