I had a ceiling leak and the guys from Dunwell were really helpful throughout. Opening visit had full open and transparent discussion of the issue, a follow up to validate issue at time of heavy rain and then swift estimate and work completion from there.

Repair to roof of en-suite, work carried out efficiently and to the highest standard, we are delighted and couldn’t recommend these guy highly enough.

Dunwell carried out a range of remedial work on our semi detached house: replaced a flat roof section and a roof light; sourced and replaced missing Victorian roof slates and carried out repairs to two chimneys. They removed cement which had been wrongly applied in the past and effected repairs with lime mortar.
Communication was good throughout the project and care and attention to detail was taken. All members of the team were good to deal with. In particular, they established good relations with our neighbours - as scaffolding and access was required across both properties. The work was completed to the agreed budget and guarantees were supplied.

We had remedial work done to 3 tenement chimneys which were in a poor state of repair. Dunwell also replaced zinc and lead across the front aspect of the tenement. The finish was outstanding. With the poor weather the care taken to ensure the lime mortar would set and last was very much appreciated. Communication was excellent - The photo presentations provided at the point of estimate and on completion helped inform neighbours and get agreement to proceed quickly. An acceptance of tender form was provided by Dunwell for neighbours to sign, which gave me, (an owner not a professional factor!) confidence neighbours were clear what their share would be and commitment to paying it. I have already recommended Jamie and his team to 5 friends and colleagues. Compared to other roofing companies I have used in the past, Dunwell is a breath of fresh air, and for me sets the standard for roofing businesses.

I contacted Dunwell when the sandstone at the rear of my property was crumbling and flaking off . They assembled scaffolding identified the problem , repaired the sandstone and arranged for a drain to be unblocked and the whole wall to be cleaned Jamie at Dunwell is a “can do “ person .
