Derek Christie Plumbing and Heating Ltd is a family run plumbing and heating business who have been in the plumbing and heating industry for over 35 years. We specialise in design and installation of bathrooms, gas boiler installations, full central heating installations, all plumbing and heating projects, from leaking pipes to full bathroom refurbishments.
When under-taking any project we know this can be a stressful time, therefore, you can be rest assured that we will treat your property with the utmost respect as it is our standard practice to place dust sheets and leave all jobs clean and tidy.

We needed to have gas central heating installed whilst living in the house and Derek was such an organised and tidy worker it really made the experience so easy. I will certainly use Derek again for any jobs I need doing and would not hesitate to recommend him.

We were so pleased with Derek, my 89 year old mothers heating broke (during winter) and he was able to come the next day after only being phoned the previous evening. He was really busy but came after his current job (outwith normal working hours) just to ensure that she wasn't without heat. When he did arrive he was brilliant with us and very reasonably priced. Overall we intend to use him again and would recommend him to anyone!

Anticipating a necessarily stressful time, I was very happy with the friendly approach of Derek Christie and his team.
Derek and I had discussed what I wanted of a 'new' bathroom. He took my opinions on board and made helpful suggestions. I felt fully involved in the design process and was confident of the result. The work progressed well and with a friendly atmosphere.
I am absolutely delighted with my new bathroom. Small though it is, it is bright and beautiful. Derek also created more storage space without making the room seem crowded. Visitors have been impressed, and one, a joiner, gave it the 'wow' factor! The team swept up every night and I was always left with a clean bathroom.
I could not praise Derek Christie enough!

The work has ranged from small plumbing repairs to large refurbishment projects. The latter involved Derek project managing other trades.
Derek has a wealth of experience and knowledge of all aspects of plumbing, heating and building works. He applies this to find the best solutions in each case.

Derek has completed a number of different plumbing and heating jobs around our property during extension and refitting works. He approaches his work and customers with a friendly and professional manner. He is trustworthy, his advice has always been spot on and the quality of his work is of the highest standard. Very reliable, pleasant.
He installed a new combi boiler and floor standing shower. All was first class, left clean and tidy and instructed me on how to use them (i am 85) with patience.
