I needed a bathroom towel radiator fitted and Jake responded very quickly to my enquiry. The work was carried out at the appointed time and I am very happy with the result. No hesitation in recommending them.

Our first experience of using this firm. Although small jobs, the service provided was first class. Grant attended on both occasions. He was so pleasant and most professional. We cannot recommend this firm highly enough. A great find!

We have now utilised the services of Cullen plumbing & heating services for the past 3 years.

During this time we have had regular services carried out on our boiler and water cylinder.

As well as a hot outside tap installed connected to the kitchen.

And a magnetic trap fitted to the boiler to ensure longevity.

All works were completed on time and in budget as quoted.

Staff member Grant has always been courteous and polite and takes the time to explain the works required and what has been carried out.

Work areas have always been left clean afterwards which is important to me.

Toilet repair. I sent a photo online for a quote, prompt reply. Arranged a time and date. Plumber attended as arranged and repair carried out efficiently. Invoice sent by email and paid by online banking.

Tom checked our boiler and quickly found the cause of our problem, he also did a quick service and gave us a very good report.

Been let down by my previous plumber who promised to do some repairs before selling my house - he was going to replace several parts including cutting and welding a joint on the Hot Water Tank.

Decided to try Trusted Trader and Cullen were the top of the list (I did try 2 different ones). Cullen replied within 30 minutes (only ones to respond); arranged an appointment for 3 days later (arrived bang on time); had already arranged an Edinburgh Trade parking permit (most traders don't); identified and dealt with the issue within 30 minutes (including spending 10 minutes explaining and drawing diagrams to help me understand, as my previous plumber had suggested lots of repair work.) Now the system works perfectly well, AND I know why. But more importantly I know who to call if I have a problem with plumbing or heating again! And by the way, the invoice was very reasonable too.

Cullen Plumbing and Heating installed a new boiler in the kitchen after having the old one for many years and badly needing replaced. The work was carried out very professionally and to an exceptionally high standard by both Jake and Callum. They both arrived promptly and were polite, courteous and very informative explaining all aspects of the work at the different stages of the installation. Whilst the installation was being carried out the work area was always very clean and tidy and left spotless when the job had been completed. Extremely happy with the work and would definitely highly recommend them for any heating or plumbing work.

I rang with a heating emergency, as the condensing pipe from my boiler was blocked, causing water to back up and extinguish the flame, that resulted in no heating; a pressing problem due to my wife being 4 days overdue with our second child.

Even though they were busy, they managed to have one of their team at my door within 30 minutes, and 30 minutes later the problem was fixed. With the heating sorted our baby girl turned up the next day!

We had wet wall, shower tray and new shower cubicle installed.

The staff came at the appointed time each day, worked with due diligence and professionalism and carried out an immaculate installation, worthy of a 5* hotel.

They cleaned everything as they went, very polite, were very smartly turned out and in the company liveried vehicle.

They were not the cheapest quote but having looked at the work done, the other companies would have been rushed to carry out the same installation in the period they anticipated. The quote was accurate to reflect the amounted time to do the job properly and well. Thank you, we are very happy.

Central heating boiler service and removal of old radiator, great efficient service and polite staff will definitely use them again.

We had a full gas boiler and central heating system install.

Cullen were really good and we highly recommend. We had 8 quotes for the work and Cullen stood out as knowledgeable and professional. From all 8 companies, the quotes ranged from £4k to £14k (for the same work!) and Cullen were bang in the middle (a good sign - realistic about the work, not promising too much for the money, and not overcharging). Cullen did a great job, were very professional throughout and made sure that everythign was perfect before finishing up.

We had a new combi boiler and a radiator fitter. Jake Cullen explained everything very clearly and answered all our questions, and his plumber did a really good job. When problems cropped up, they dealt with them quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use their services again.

I've happily used Cullen Plumbing for a number of years, most recently for a boiler and radiator replacement. Jake and his team always carry out work to the highest standards, explain any issues and provides solutions, are always on time, clear up after the job and are a pleasure to have in the house. I'd highly recommend them.

We had a problem with a kitchen tap. Cullen sent a plumber (sorry, I didn't catch his name). He came on time, fixed the problem speedily and without fuss, and left the kitchen clean and tidy. He also renewed the sealing behind the sink, even though we hadn't originally asked for this.

I'd also like to commend the lady who took our original phone call. She clearly understood our problem, and re-assured us that they could help - unlike another firm I had tried earlier who were much less helpful. I also like the fact that Cullen's invoice came the next day (I don't like owing money for long periods) and that they were quite happy to accept a cheque (not everyone finds it convenient to do electronic payments).

All in all, this was very good service. We will definitely use them again.

Our heated towel rail had been out of action for over a year (plus a couple of other things needed fixing in the house) and we'd been let down by two other plumbers, so I thought I'd give Cullen Plumbing & Heating a call. They were very efficient on the phone and booked me in at a convenient time. The heating engineer (Tom) arrived promptly and got on with the work. Once he had established what needed done, I ordered the parts online and picked them up while he prepped. This saved him going out to get the parts (and me paying for his time!) and meant that he was done in just over 2 hours. Unlike some traders, Cullen charge by the half-hour (and not the hour). Yes, I was charged for 2.5 hours for 2h10m of work BUT that's better than being charged for THREE hours (at a higher rate!). I was very happy with the service (plus he did a couple of other little jobs) and Tom was only happy to leave once he was sure that everything was sorted - he explained that he really liked these 'little' jobs (some companies only go for bigger jobs and installations). I was invoiced the following day which was refreshing - sometimes you can be left waiting for a while.
All in all, I was extremely happy with Cullen Plumbing & Heating and would recommend them highly.

Replacing electric shower which was done to very high standard - quickly and efficiently. Very impressed and satisfied customer.

Job: Wet wall boards fitted in shower and a new replacement shower enclosure fitted. What a professional job and a great plumber. I rarely write reviews but I had to praise the plumber who did this job. Nothing was too much trouble and he even gave me options on heights and finish whilst doing the job. A very pleasant plumber to deal with. First class.

We used Cullen Plumbing for a boiler service and also about a year later for installing radiators. They have been great with us - they arrived on time every time, replied to all emails promptly, gave helpful advice, were polite and tidy and generally did a good job for us. The price was also fair for the work done. Our experience has been positive and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them (and have!).
