We had Kelvin and his team round to install a smart thermostat, digital TRV, new bath taps (x2) and review our water pressure. We could not be happier with the work. Kelvin is friendly and hard working and completely honest and transparent about the work being undertaken. They were respectful of our new house and did their best to minimise disruptions to my wife who was working from home during the job. Would not hesitate to recommend and will be using them again in the future.

Crowe Eco Heating carried out the annual service of our boiler. I have always found them to be efficient and tidy workers who always deliver a quality service. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Original double radiator was removed & new vertical radiator installed but on different wall...Kelvin advised, quoted and then completed above work over 2 x visits with a minimum of fuss and time.

Installed new combi gas boiler. The installation was completed in one day. It was clear that the team were working very hard and kept us informed of each stage in the process. Any additional issues were dealt with effectively. For instance some of the pipes in our house were old and to ensure that there were no leaks they were replaced. When the work was done we were given detailed information on how the system would work and if there were any issues the team would come back and resolve.
In summary the work was done effectively, efficiently, within the estimate, and the team were very helpful.

Kelvin and his crew are a rare find in the world of trades people! They communicate, they turn up when they say they will and they fix things. They worked on our kitchen renovation and were brilliant throughout. After years of unsatisfactory experience with British Gas, I cancelled my contract with them and had my boiler serviced by Crowe Plumbing and heating last year. They also carried out some recommended maintenance work. Everything was done efficiently and punctually by a very pleasant engineer. I asked them to remind me when my service was due again this year, which they did, and once again turned up on time (actually a bit early, which was fine) and very efficiently checked and serviced the boiler. I also got a very useful tip to extend the lifetime of my boiler. The firm is a real pleasure to deal with and everyone I've had contact with could not have been more helpful. Same time next year!

Reliable, on-time and good communications / timely invoicing. This is the second year I have used them, good, honest, local company. Liked the reminder to have boiler checked, I would have forgotten.

Everything from an emergency toilet problem to regular servicing of gas boiler, gas cooker breakdown to gas fire servicing I have used this firm for the last 3+ years.
Easy to contact and get appointments which they always stick to. Every employee so far polite, pleasant and professional.
Back office also first class in terms of invoicing, queries etc.

Lead pipe replacement

I can not recommend the staff at Crowe Plumbing highly enough. they made a stressful job a lot easier with their friendly and patient staff. I was really concerned when told I would need to change the lead pipes in my property however the trades people and receptionist made the whole job a lot easier - with clear explanation and extremely reasonable pricing they worked around my schedule and Scottish waters to get the job done as efficiently as possible.

Very unreasonable call out charge ending up with having to pay £72 for just loosening a bolt on the radiator. Will definitely not be using for future repairs.

I required my Central Heating Boiler serviced. Excellent service and very helpful, knowledgeable tradespeople. They arrived when they said they would and I got sent a tracker on my iphone which allowed me to see when they would arrive.

Prompt and efficient service in repairing the pump in our central heating boiler.

I called them out for estimate for a what appeared to be a small leak that we couldn't pin down. Not only did they find it, but due the more serious nature of the leak than first thought, and it being near to electrics, immediately set to work and fixed it; and it wasn't a 5 minute job. I couldn't recommend them highly enough; not just "jobs worths" but first class professionals.

This is a company I would extremely recommend. Kerry in the office was so friendly and accommodating. I phoned to ask for help in unblocking a drainpipe and the workers were with me within an hour. I got a text letting me know exactly where they were and I could track to find out the time they would arrive. The blocked pipe was on the roof and not a job they were able to do. However, Kerry phoned me back to give me the number of another company. I was not even charged a call out fee. This is a company I will continue to recommend and return to in the future. We required a replacement boiler; Kelvin came out promptly to assess our old boiler & discuss options. We received our quote within a couple of days, it was what we were expecting to pay. We had a new boiler fitted in our rental flat. This was a very tricky job but Kelvin at Crowe Plumbing ran ideas past us all the time. Work was carried out on time, communication was great and the guys that did the actual job were lovely. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service and support. We were fitted in at short notice to help trace and resolve a persistent slow leak with no obvious cause from our kitchen into our downstairs neighbour's flat. It became clear that parts of our floor would need to come up, after exhausting other routes. This was managed swiftly, with loads of explanation and as minimal damage to floor as possible. Everything was left really neat and tidy afterwards too. Great communication from start to finish. Highly recommended.

My central heating boiler had developed a fault which meant it was cutting out due to loss of pressure. A quick initial visit diagnosed the problem and returned it to working order in less than half-an-hour. At the same time the technician identified a faulty part and another that was recommended for replacement. I arranged for this work to be done at a follow-up visit and also for a service to be carried out, as British Gas had once again failed to do this work.

I will not be renewing my service contract with BG but have asked Crowe Plumbing to drop me a reminder for a service each year. Their work was carried out with a minimum of fuss and very promptly, at a very reasonable cost.

We recently had our en-suite bathroom renovated by Kelvin and his team and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

At the outset Kelvin put us in touch with Natalie at City Plumbing (Stenhouse) and Natalie was very helpful in assisting with the overall design of the room and selection of fittings.

Although the job was delayed due to Covid restrictions, when the work was able to start, it was carried out professionally and to a really high standard by all involved (plumbers, joiners and electrician). Everyone tidied up behind them each day so there was no disruption and we were still able to use the bedroom.

Once the old fittings had been removed, we had more space available that we first thought so Kelvin came up with some suggestions to improve the overall design. These were all great ideas and we were more than happy to agree to them.

We are delighted with the work carried out and would have no hesitation in using Kelvin again in the future.

I had a fault on my boiler which caused it to be extremely noisy, to the extent that I was afraid to use it. Despite the fact that lockdown had started, and the difficulties this created, Kelvin Crowe turned up exactly when he said he would. He kept in contact, was friendly, informative and good humoured throughout and charged a very modest amount for the repair, and additional servicing, of the boiler. Company was initially brought in when we were making downstairs open plan and knocking a wall down. Also involved removal of a fireplace. Existing plumbing to radiators and boiler had to be changed to accommodate. This was done efficiently by the team and the project was successfully completed. Since then I have used the company for some small repairs including leaks at the cistern. Fantastic service - would highly recommend! Kelvin and his team fitted a new boiler and water tank system in our house a few weeks ago. Firstly, we found Kelvin to be very professional, coming round at a convenient time to provide a quote. The quote which is the best one we got, was very detailed so we could see exactly what costs related to specific parts and labour. Secondly, over the 2 days the team were in our house fitting the boiler/tank, we found them to be very helpful and friendly, cleaning up any mess made at the end of both days which was great - we wouldn't have known they had been round. Kelvin made sure everything went back to how it was prior to fitting, e.g. cupboard had to come off wall to accommodate new boiler but was put back on wall perfectly and slab had to be taken up in garden due to pipe work and we would never have known any different but we appreciated that he consulted us first about this - it was also great that absolutely everything was included in his initial quote - no hidden extras. We felt Kelvin went above and beyond by taking the time to explain to us how to use the "NEST" thermostat we had purchased alongside our boiler and water tank. He also seemed very genuine about calling him if we had any issues over the coming weeks regarding heating/water following fitting of the boiler - although we have had no such issues we would not hesitate to call if we needed help. We can confidently say we would not look any further if we needed any plumbing work done again in the future. Would highly recommend him and his team!

Crowe Plumbing & Heating were efficient and skillfully co-ordinated with me to refurbish a large bathroom.
