Needed flashing repairs to flat garage roof, as well as ridge repairs post-Storm Eowyn. This company was a pleasure to deal with. They kept me fully informed throughout, turned up when they said they would, both for two quotes and the work itself, and the workmen were friendly, professional and thorough. Highly recommend and would certainly use again.

Repair to storm damage to ridge tiles carried out professionally and efficiently. Fast friendly service including initial roof top examination, estimate and repair including colour matching mortar to tiles which rarely happened with previous contractors. Will now be my first choice for any future roofing works

Really happy with Cleland. Came out and gave us a quote for a garage flat roof replacement right after storm Eowyn. Helpful from the start and explained everything. Once agreed the work was done on time, turned around quick, the guys who came out were always on time, helpful, friendly and clean. Did what they said they were going to do, when they said they would do it. And very happy with the end result. Would definitely recommend.

We had a leak in our gutter which Cleland Roofing arranged to replace and then reset and repoint some masonry that had been damaged due to the water.
Even with a slight delay in initially getting scaffolding put up, George and Zara were very communicative throughout. The scaffolding and repairs were all done within one day, and they managed to do a repair to the gutter instead of replacing it, which saved a significant amount on the overall cost of the job. We'd highly recommend them and will certainly be going to them for future roof works.

As a returning customer to this company , I was again impressed by the quality of their workmanship and their thoroughness. My lead flashings were being renewed, a dormer roof replaced and various re- mortar repairs.
This company is on my personal phone list as I simply trust them to do a great job.

Repairs to a roof valley and lead flashing to facing bricks. Cleland provided photographic evidence of the condition of the roof and of their very well executed repair. The valley has been re-constructed and previous failed and ineffective repairs by other contractors have been corrected and made good.

This was our first time using this company and we'll definitely be using them again for any future work. We needed a couple of tiles replaced at our skylight and the rhones cleaned out. Lewis and Ewan (hope that's spelled the right way!) arrived when expected and were efficient, highly professional, very pleasant and friendly and extremely tidy, even clearing away stones around our skylight that had been left from a previous contractor. Perfect job done by 2 very pleasant young men and a credit to the company. We'll be calling Cleland Roofing Solutions for any roof issues in the future and will happily recommend to others.

very old (1890's) vents removed after storm damage, replaced with new ridge, modern vents, edging, tiles and gutter. 3 days work. The boss/workers were polite, friendly and hard working to get the job done during mixed weather conditions. Very tidy afterwards. Thank you

Our roof was leaking and was in need or repair. George came round shortly after my first contact. He assessed the work and sent an estimate about seven days later
Then came the big rains!
The guys did a really great job in pretty tough conditions.

Got quotes from 3 roofers. Cleland was somewhere in the middle.
Accepted the quote, which was reasonable and included for more than just carrying out repairs but also included checking downpipes for being clear and gutters for being clear.
Work was carried out efficiently, timeously and with minimal disruption, even though it was not alway easy to put ladders into position.
Before leaving the roofer explained what has been fixed and shared photos of all repairs. Also did random minor repairs like fixing back a section of loose fascia soffit and a slipped tile.
Very satisfied with the work. Will used again and more than happy to give a strong recommendation to others to feel comfortable about using Cleland.

I had a boundary wall where the Roughcasting was separating from the brickwork due to water getting in behind, freezing and expanding.
I had spoken to three recommended independent builders who all said they would do the job then never turned up.
Saw Cleland’s advert in the local Barnton magazine and made contact.
George came round to survey the job, provided a proper quotation and the job was carried out by his team without any issue.
Very happy with the job and happy to recommend the company.

Full gable wall and conservatory walls re-rendered. New plastic verge and fascia fitted. New lead installed.
As with all builders being busy it took a long time to get to the point of having the work start.
Once work started it was carried out well and in good time. The work was agreed at the beginning and some changes were suggested but it was agreed to complete as first set out. The work was tidied up neatly at the end of each day. The work team worked well and were polite.
