I got 3 quotes and Sergey was the best overall to tile my kitchen and utility using 600x600mm porcelain tiles over about 26sqm. I was doing the preparation work which involved removing all the units, lifting the existing tongue and grooved floorboards, clearing out underneath, lagging and rerouting some of the radiator and water pipes, fitting 120mm celotex insulation boards and fitting no more ply 1200x600x22mm concrete tile backer board. Took me about 40hours. Sergey gave good advice on what was needed. Preparation done he arrived as agreed and did the skilled bit. Did a great job taking pride in his work and determined not to take any shortcuts. I have had some bad experiences with tradesmen so using properly vetted traders is a good idea as there is a very high risk of things going wrong otherwise.

Sergey was very professional and walked me through what my options are and if there were any difficulties with any of them. None of the other trades mentioned half of that stuff and it made perfect sense once Sergey pointed them out. This meant he quoted me exactly for the job that needed doing and there were no nasty surprises (price or materials). All was excellent and will be using this company again for my kitchen refurbishment.

Bathroom tiled. The tiler gave me a start date and estimated finish date. He was reliable and had a high work ethic. The job was carried out as instructed although I had to provide the tiles I wanted. He was attentive and listened to what I wanted. Very good service provided and I was delighted with the finished job. It exceeded my expectations and was good value for the money I paid.

Our tiles were of two types. Mosiac (small sized square & round Penny tiles) plus large format wall and floor tiles. The smaller tiles were fiddley and the surfaces in this Victorian flat were uneven.! A challenging refurbishment of tiles in the en-suite and wet rooms.

We had a splashback done by Clay&Stone last winter. It was a very satisfying experience from the first phonecall. Sergey, the tiler, who then did the job, visited us the following day and sent us a quote just a few hour later. We had a complicated pattern in three different colours and he did a great job managing our uneven walls, multiple electric sockets and switches, windows and pipe boxes. He was very meticulous even in hidden corners and always left the space tidy and clean at the end of the day. We are very happy with the end result!
