Cedar carried out a full renovation of our flat which was very tired and in need of development. This included relocating the kitchen to another room, full electrical rewire, two new bathrooms, extensive floor restoration and a new laundry room.

We were impressed with Cedar’s professionalism from the outset and really enjoyed working with them throughout the whole process.

The team were fantastic, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, and each trade produced high quality work.

They arranged regular site visits and were happy to discuss plans and matters that arose at length to explore different options to achieve the best result.

Cedar Developments were amazing from start to finish. They completed a full renovation on my flat. Knocking down walls, plumbing, electrics, tiling and joinery. Everything was done to time and everything communicated to me. Everyone I met on site was friendly and knowledgeable and the flat was always left tidy. Cedar have recently completed a full renovation of our basement flat. It is a very old property which presented a number of challenges. From the outset Hamish and the Cedar Team impressed us with their thoughtful and professional approach. Communication was excellent throughout and we were encouraged to visit the site and discuss progress – everyone on the team was approachable, whilst the site was kept neat and tidy.

Any challenges that arose were fully discussed, with flexible and pragmatic solutions arrived at. Cedar were always willing to spend time discussing the options with us and supportive of the decisions made.

Cedar worked creatively and collaboratively to realise our ideas, whilst project and cost management were exemplary. Cedar’s joiners, led expertly by Cal created a new bathroom/utility room, bespoke sliding doors and birch ply wardrobes which are all functional and stylish.

Overall the professionalism and attention to detail on the was job second to none. It’s been a real pleasure to have Hamish and everyone at Cedar work on our home – thanks!

Cedar developments changed my kitchen involving removing a wall and adjusting pipes. It was a tricky job and they were very careful and considerate with all the work They installed the new kitchen to a very high standard. Cedar developments dealt with telling neighbours, the council etc meaning that the whole project was low stress and efficiently completed. They kept us informed at every stage and promptly answered questions, sorting any little worries that we had. I would definitely use Cedar again for my next project. Considering how much they did, they are very good value for money.

I used Cedar to to renovate my new shop in the city centre. It was a top to bottom, strip out and refit of an aged building to make a modern shop with new, plumbing, electrics, joinery, decoration and some bespoke items too.

Throughout the job I was impressed with how little I needed to chase up, with Cedar giving constant, regular updates of works being done, what has been completed and what is coming next. I barely ever was left wondering what was happening with the job.

The quality of work was impressive and they did exactly what I asked for in the initial brief I gave them when starting. Where problems came up that required a change of plan they had excellent recommendations and made an effort to suggest solutions that fit with my vision for the renovations.

They made and extra effort multiple times to keep cost down for me when unforeseen circumstances arose and did their best to plan work to synergise with my other contractors. Given the nature and age of the building, unforeseen problems surfaced many times and Cedar were excellent in thinking on their feet to provide me with the best outcome, even when I wasn't there personally to confirm.

I would recommend Cedar to anyone considering any renovation or building work.

We employed Cedar to totally refurbish our kitchen. The results have exceeded our expectations and we were very happy with their workmanship. They were a good bunch of people to work with and they cleared up well at the end of the project.

Cedar carried out an all-trades, full kitchen, utility and office/snug renovation in our flat. The work included rewiring, floor sanding and decoration throughout, and opening up access from the kitchen out to the garden. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Professional but personal, they were a pleasure to work with and have on site at all times. They have a sharp attention to detail from initial contact to final snagging and nothing was too much trouble, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the final results. I would happily work with the whole team again, I just need to find the next project… :-)

Conversion of integral garage to bedroom and addition of accessible shower/hand basin in downstairs cloakroom.

All work was completed to a good standard. We were kept informed of progress and any unavoidable delays. All workers were polite and helpful and cleaned up after themselves.

Cedar Developments helped us to convert a shop unit to be used for a temporary arts/community project - stripping out existing units and structures and preparing the space for a new use. They were very good to work with and able to do the work at short notice and to a tight timeline.

Clearly laid out dates and contract for payments. Easy rapid communications and rapid response within a few hours to any queries raised.

Replaced and painted balcony. From first contact getting estimate to completion of complicated construction of balcony the company and their employees were excellent.
Work carried out in a clean and tidy manner with little disturbance to neighbours. Updated as and when necessary regarding their work schedule and absolutely delighted with finished product. Highly recommend.

I had a wooden balcony rebuilt and painted by Cedar. They were easy to deal with with regular phone and email communication from the Project Manager. The tradesmen were friendly and professional and the quality of work done was excellent. Highly recommend and I'll use them again.

They came to paint the walls, change carpet and refurbish the kitchen. I didn't have to move out and they were really nice and professional. Couldn't be more glad with the result!

Cedar designed and constructed an adjacent outside terrace area to compliment the existing building. They were 1st class in all aspects and came in on time/ on budget and were a pleasure to deal with.
