At very short notice, Chris took on the challenge of getting a tall enough ladder up four flights of stairs, around sharp corners in the corridor to disable beeping smoke alarms on ceilings 4.6 m tall (we do have other functioning alarms which are within reach). Many other traders could not do this yet Chris approached it with positivity and professionalism. A real 'can do' person.

Chris fitted a replacement socket box for the washing machine. He turned up when he said he would and completed the job quickly, neatly and at a very reasonable price. Would definitely use him again and would recommend him.

I was plunged into darkness and Chris came swiftly to my rescue when I contacted him about getting a new pendant light fitted in my bathroom. I also asked for his advice about changing my light pull to a switch outside my bathroom. He was extremely helpful, turned up when he said he would and offered a swift, polite and professional service. He quoted and charged a very reasonable price too and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I was very impressed all round with the kind customer care that he offered and will most certainly contact him again for any electrical work that I may need done in my property in the future.

Chris fitted a replacement storage heater, new digital timer and smoke alarms. Before quoting he visited to view the job and suggested a great solution to minimise redecoration. His quote was clear and on the date agreed he arrived promptly and had dismantled the old heater and taken it to his van before the parking restrictions came in force. Once back upstairs he completed the installation and other work efficiently and tidily. Finally, he went over the instructions with me and answered any questions I had. I would definitely use Chris for any future electrical work and have already recommended him to friends.

Chris offered a fair quote to install a new camera/ doorbell. I needed the work to coordinate with other trades and so he fitted in the job to accommodate that. He turned up & started the work on time. Was pleasant, worked neatly and helped me to link the bell to my app so that he could test it properly. I highly recommend him

Was not present for Chris's inspection or servicing for a minor electrical job in my property but quick response and good communication. Would recommend.

Extractor fan put into a bathroom on the top floor of a Marchmont tenement. This involved drilling a hole through a thick stone wall and crawling through a low ceiling containing a water tank in order to provide the wiring for the fan. A number of other electricians were applied to for this work but were not interested in taking it on.
The work was done by C Squared with no fuss and in a few hours.
The fan installed was making a rattling sound so I asked them to come back to check it, which they did twice - the second time replacing the fan. When this failed to solve the problem they came again and exchanged the fan for a different model and this is now working fine and is very quiet. All communications were replied to promptly and in a pleasant manner. I would certainly use C Squared Electrical (Scot) Ltd again.

There was a prompt reply to the Trusted Trader Contact with a home visit arranged and reasonable quote provided a couple of days later.

The work is done very well and the cost is much cheaper than some of the other big venders. The clean up after work could be better, but in general would use them again and would recommend.

C Squared Elecricals (Scot) Ltd has carried out several jobs for me including putting in fire alarms, new power points and fixing ceiling lights. All work is carried out in a friendly and polite manner. The boys are very dependable, efficient and organised.

Chris came initially to quote for replacing a fan in my shower room which was connected/operated via light switch. He checked the light switch and discovered this was where the fault lay, he replaced the faulty switch, and fan was back in working order. He also fixed problem with extractor fan in kitchen. Both jobs completed in a timely manner. Chris was very helpful, professional, reasonably priced, and I am very happy with the completed work. I would not hesitate to use his services again.

Chris arrived exactly on time to fit my cookerhood and splashback and even though job was not straight forward as wiring had to be relocated and space ground out to fit splashback, Chris completed the jobs with ease. Chris did a small job quickly in the run up to Christmas. He arranged everything quickly and efficiently and turned up exactly when he said and did the work perfectly. One of the most efficient tradesman I have ever dealt with.

Fitting electric supply to a garden summer house approximately 10 metres from the mains supply, including fuse box and sockets both internally and externally. The work was carried out efficiently and was of a high standard. Chris arrived on time and worked through until the work was completed in less than a day. His invoice reflected the estimate although some additional groundwork was required

Chris and his team did the job in a neat and timely fashion. They fitted smoke alarms, one heat detector, a bathroom extraction fan, fixed an electrical fault in the corridor lightswitch, and installed a light switch + lights in our loft. Particularly pleased they could fit me in before our loft was boarded up :) Would recommend them to anyone, quality job and good value for money.
