Complete re-slate of edinburgh town house, fitting reclaimed scotch slates, with repairs to chimneys and some leadwork.
They included and arranged scaffolding through another company, who were efficient and careful.
Not the cheapest quote for the work, but extremely reasonable, and coped well with a late season job (weather permitting).
Friendly, flexible, professional and trustworthy. What more could anyone ask for!

THIS WAS A REROOFING AND RECOVERING OF OUR GARDEN SHED. THE WORK WAS DONE SWIFTLY, CAREFULLY, AND TO A HIGH STANDARD. THE OLD ROOF TIMBERS AND FELT WERE REMOVED AS CONTRACTED AND THE SITE WAS LEFT TIDY. AN EXTREMELY WELL DONE PIECE OF WORK CARRIED OUT SWIFTLY, PROFESSIONALLY AND WITH GREAT COURTESY FROM BEGINNING TO END.

Excellent service and customer support. The roofers were lovely, professional and experienced. Although the work was delayed to start post Covid, it was worth waiting for. Linda was amazing project manager, she is easy to communicate with hand handled my queries and my neighbor’s queries swiftly and professionally. Bolton roofers are indeed to be trusted they will strive make savings when it doesn’t compromise quality. Highly recommended

Bolton identified a down pipe blockage in a mutual stack shared by two tenements, removed high level blockage and repainted the pipe.

We have had a repair carried out in our tenement building, water was dripping down from the ceiling on the ground floor passage leading out to the main door, it was quite a tricky job trying to find the source of the leak and Bolton Roofing were here on several occasions but they found out what the problem was and carried out the repair at a very reasonable cost, we have used them in the past for roof repairs and have always found their work very satisfactory, reasonably priced and being reliable they would always be our first choice.

I was very impressed by Bolton and Linda in particular. She explained the work that needed done clearly to a non roofer and taught me a lot about roofs in the process. The work was done on time, communication was excellent and pricing was competitive. 5 months after completion, the roof is in good condition and has been tested by a number of storms.

Bolton Roofing Contractors Ltd carried out a major roof and building refurbishment
at just under £30,000 from the beginning of October 2021 to the end of January 2022.
Given the range of problems that arose during the refurbishment, covid, the weather,
additional work coming to light, accessing scaffolding, materials and replacement operators for the work, I have been most impressed by Bolton Roofing's Project Manager, Linda McGillivray and her ability to resolve every problem that came her way along with a most impressive attention to detail at all times from big to small. In both keeping the work on track and always up to Bolton Roofing's high standards, Linda McGillivray proved to be an invaluable asset to the refurbishment always concerned that each stage of the roof and building work reflected Bolton Roofing's high standards at all times. Highly recommended indeed.

I live in a block of 4 flats. There had been a leak above the bathroom, leading to water ingress. My part of the roof required some work and there were some missing/lose tiles on the other part of the roof.
We had a couple of large quotes from other places.
I contacted Bolton Roofing and they were straightforward, friendly and straight to the point from the beginning. A proper assessment of only the work that needed doing was done. The work was carried out promptly, to a very high standard, with a full clean up of the site, communication was excellent.
The price was less than half of what other firms quoted us.
I am a very happy customer and plan to use Bolton Roofing whenever we have any issues with our roof. They are the best roofing company I have ever used! :)
