The work undertaken was the investigation and eradication of a mouse (mice?) which had eaten through plastic pipework, creating a leak in my central heating system npipework and causing the boiler to shut-down.

The trader (Adam) was a delight to deal with on all three of his visits, and was both knowledgable and courteous and helpful at all times.. (My score of 4 for "value" simply reflects that I am unaware of the costs which other pest control comanies charge).

The mouse is probably now deceased - no further evidence has been recorded by Adam - so hopefully no more cold mornings!

Ben visited us last week as we had a rodent problem.Right from the start he explained everything to us and what the process was and thoroughly inspected our property.He has since returned as planned and I am delighted to say the rodents haven’t returned! I cannot praise him enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.If we ever have a return of any sort of rodents i certainly know who i will be calling. The service we received from everyone we had contact with from Barricade was excellent. We had mice in our home and the team were extremely knowledge, reassuring and supportive when providing advice on options and booking a technician, treatment and follow up work, and Ben who carried out the treatment and follow up work was again hugely supportive and reassuring. The team also didn't recommend anything we didn't need and provided us with a range of options. We would definitely use Barricade again (though hopefully we don't have to), and would recommend to others.

Fantastic efficient and super effective service from start to finish! Rebekah was lovely to deal with to arrange a visit and Ben turned up when he said he would. The large wasps nest was in a difficult area, but Ben was very thorough in dealing with this and within the hour the wasps were no longer! Weve had no further issues with wasps and Ben even popped in to check all was ok and to make sure the issue was completely fixed. So thankful we called in the professionals!! We had originally thought we just had a few pesky wasps in the guttering above a bedroom window, but luckily Ben from Barricade strongly suggested he check the loft space – and promptly found a massive nest (unnoticed by us) tucked behind the water tank! He very quickly suited up and was ready with all his gear to go in and sort it out without further delay. We were extremely impressed by his expertise and 100% professionalism from start to finish. Equally important, his calm and friendly attitude kept us from panicking over this potentially hazardous situation. We highly recommend this company!!

I noticed a tiny mouse in the house. I contacted Barricade and it was a bank holiday but still they were open. An inspection appointment was booked with 2 hours. I really recommend Ben. Mice infestation extermination

We've used Barricade a couple of times in the past for wasp nests in our attic and their efficient responses to queries and friendly professionalism is why I called again a few weeks ago to deal with a rat situation, which has now been resolved following a course of treatment.

The office are always really quick to respond and happy to accommodate diaries to make appointments work for all. Adam has been our technician this time round and is really friendly, informed, helpful and a calm presence - which is key this time round with our unwelcome furry visitors.

I'd not hesitate to recommend Barricade, and in the nicest possible way I hope not to be seeing them again any time soon.

We thought we had a squirrel in our loft but it turned out to be a rat, yeek! A week of traps and monitoring confirmed it wasn't a current problem, and we were given good advice on how to manage any future visitors, and honest information about the difficulties in trying to pest-proof the space. The girl on the phone was super helpful, we were desperate and to get someone out the same day was a relief. You gave me the price with the vat already added so it was nice to get charged what you said, the tracker showing your arrival was fab and as for A*** he really is a credit to you. My sons autistic and has adhd and his medication had wore off so he was hyper and talked non stop and A*** was calm patient and answered all my sons questions and listened to him and left here my sons hero. He explained things so well I even learnt something, very knowledgeable I was shocked to hear he's not even been with your company 3mths yet as he was a natural. N*** didn't want him to leave he was even friendly to my dogs. Even your payment system was easy with the receipt and the link. We had two wasp nests, one extremely large in the garage near some electrical cabling. Sean attended us promptly and advised on the best course of action explaining the process to us. I was advised by the British Bee Association that I had Wasp Bike and should have it professionally removed. I contacted several Companies and Barricade Pest Control we efficient in contacting me and the cost was fair and affordable. The Bike was completely removed quickly and efficiently.

Called Barricade out to check for suspected infestation in the loft. A camera was set up to identify the animal in question. Detailed explanation of why this was needed was provided and I was contacted while the camera was in place to check if we were still hearing anything. Ultimately, nothing triggered the camera and the animals appear to have moved on. Barricade arrived on time for appointments both to set and remove the camera. Will definitely use them again, should the need arise.
