I contacted this company based on Trusted Trader reviews, as I had a problem with my washing machine which wouldn't empty, and they were all spot on.
I emailed for a quote and Billy Rutherford got back to me that evening asking me to phone the following morning with more details. He informed me clearly of his charges and I couldn't believe that he came out the same afternoon and fixed it.
It turned out not to be the pump but just clogged up so it was just the call out charge. While here he set straight to work and was friendly and polite and had the job done in no time. Would definitely use him again and recommend to others.

We were having problems with our washing machine cutting out mid-cycle and not draining or rinsing properly. William came out promptly, and provided honest, fair advice about the likely nature of the issue and the efficacy of the work he did. He was polite and friendly and the fee he charged was very fair. My washing machine was full of water and the drain was blocked. I found Billy on the trusted trader site, contacted him and my washing machine was fixed the following morning. I have a Wolf cooker/oven which is American, expensive and apparently rare in Scotland. It got damaged during cleaning and the smaller oven blew the electricity circuit whenever turned on. I contacted Billy through this website. He was courteous, extremely helpful, reliable and exceptional value in my opinion. Billy hadn't seen a Wolf range like mine before but with his experience, logic, common sense and determination he managed to fix it for me. And as an added bonus, he is also a very nice man!

Billy fitted uninstalled and fitted a new washing machine for me. The first one delivered was unfortunately broken and Billy was quick to identify the problem and was kind enough to come the following day to fit the replacement.

Repair to door catch and oven light on Rangemaster Cooker. Emailed BR Domestic Appliances and received a prompt email back from Billy. This was on a Friday afternoon and Billy was on site on Monday morning. Extremely good and reasonably priced service from a very pleasant chap.

Billy responded at very short notice for a washing machine repair I needed - he visited 4 hours after I called him (compare the 5 day waiting list via Bosch service centre). He took time on the phone to clarify exactly what my assessment of the problem was and turned up when he said he would (a shame to say, but you cant even take that for granted any more). Billy was polite, business like and very quickly diagnosed the problem. He worked in this kind of role for 30 years or more before setting up his own business, so he has the experience to diagnose and fix quickly. He had my job done in a little more than 1/2 hour and I was more than happy to pay the going rate (which is extremely reasonable by the way), for the work he did. The machine now works perfectly. I cannot recommend Billy highly enough. An easy 5 stars *****
