Business Information
With over 30 years experience in the Domestic Appliance Industry, I started my career with an Edinburgh firm, ACE Domestic Appliances. After 10 years service I moved to work with National Homecare (Servis UK) and was approached by Alan Wallace, of Wallace’s Domestic Appliances to take a position with his reputable company.
Having worked 18 years with Wallace’s I have now branched out to set up my own company, BR Domestic Appliance Specialist, based in Midlothian – covering Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Phoned Billy Friday afternoon and he quoted a price to do the job. He came on time Saturday morning and had the job done within the hour. He was very friendly, easy to talk to and professional. I would use his services again.

I highly recommend Billy, I called him about a problem with my tumble drier, he came out the very next day, took my machine away to investigate the problem which he was able to fix thankfully and he delivered the drier back the next morning! I would not hesitate to use him again should I need to.

Outstanding service from Billy. I called about our broken oven and he was out and had it fixed in less than two hours. He was professional and friendly and we would highly recommend him.

My washing machine broke at the weekend and I e-mailed on Saturday night in the hope of getting a repair in the week. He impressed me by getting in touch on Sunday and repaired the machine on Monday morning.
He carries spares for many machines and arrived at the arranged time.
I had caused damage to the pipes when pulling the machine forward and Billy attended to these too. Excellent and great value for money!

Excellent service. Punctual. Helpful. Quick and efficient. Billy quoted beforehand, ordered new parts after diagnosing the problem and returned to fix the oven 2 days later. Would definitely use BR again & recommend.

Would highly recommend Billy. Very reliable and arrived when he said he would. He was very happy to arrange a time most suitable to me to install a new oven and hob (which he sourced for me). Even although I live in East Lothian he was happy to carry out the work in the evening. Delighted with my new appliances and his workmanship. Already have Billy booked for another job.

Called late Wednesday and he came 9am Thursday. Looked at job gave us advice without hastle advised us on best things about our problem. He then carried out all work to a very satisfactory conclusion. We would have no hesitation on using this company again.

Great service. Billy got back to me very quickly after I messaged and came out promptly next day keeping in touch to let me know he was on his way.
Gave me a very reasonable quote, went off to get required parts and was back within the hour. Job done. New dishwasher installed. He even took time to advise on how to use it for best results and said to contact him if any issues.
Definitely would use again.

Came on time. Identified where the washing machine was leaking from as the fill hose. Gave me the option of paying full service at £65 to fit hose, £35 service charge for call out and I buy another hose from elsewhere and fit myself or £35 call-out charge and he'd sell me the hose for £8 and I'd fit myself. I chose the latter and was very satisfied.

I found Billy on EGG where he was repeatedly recommended. He got back to my original message promptly, came the next day and fixed the washing machine on the spot. He told me costs upfront and explained what he was doing. He was very friendly, helpful and reasonably priced and my washing machine now works perfectly. He didn't seem phased by the large number of small children and guests in the house either! Definitely recommend him.
