Anglo Scottish Pest Control

I phoned Anglo Scottish Pest Control to make an appointment to deal with what I thought was a wasps nest in my roof. However, a couple of quick questions from the person I was speaking to established it was more likely to be a bees nest and there was no risk. I took another quick look and I was able to verify it was a bumblebees nest.

Phoned Anglo Scottish Pest Control regarding a wasps nest and Jack appeared within the hour, as promised. He dealt with the nest in a professional manner and answered all my questions about wasp behaviour and any preventative measures I could take in the future. A very friendly and helpful service at a very reasonable price.

If I have the same problem next year, I know who I am going to call.....!

I am absolutely terrified of mice/rats. I found Anglo Scottish Pest control and these guys are truly exceptional. I had earlier contacted another Edinburgh based pest control company on emergency call out. I was charged heavily, but their agent only placed glue boards and poison around the house. When I got back from holidays, I obviously did not have the courage to get rid of the mice that were stuck to the glue board and the follow up date given was longer than I had expected. So I had to immediately find someone to get rid of the mice stuck to glue board in my house. I found Anglo Scottish Pest Control.

I phoned Gavin during holiday period on 2nd Jan and he got back to me within minutes. He was at my home in less than 1 hour from time of call. He inspected the entire property thoroughly, piping, inside the kitchen, balcony, outside, bathroom etc. and got rid of the mice very promptly. He then explained to me the mice evidences he had observed in my house and how he plans to tackle this professionally. He performed a special treatment for the mice infestation on day 1 of the visit. This was a very neat job done by a seriously experienced person. I felt satisfied and safer in my own home after I contacted them. I will recommend Anglo Scottish Pest control to all property owners and simple residents like myself!

Our mouse problem ......after trying a couple of useless firms, we tried Anglo Scottish Pest Control. They are a joy to deal with, punctual, efficient, polite, reasonably priced - and above all, effective. We will definitely use them again and we have recommended them to several people.
They are also very good for pigeons.

This company is family run and have shown a high level of professionalism. They explained the process of work and agreed a schedule. They are clear and transparent on charges and have no hidden charges or add on. They Arrive as agreed and complete the schedule over 2 weeks as agreed. They are polite and respectful and explain the reason they are placing bait in different parts of the house. I would recommend this company to family and friends.

We've had an infestation of mice. Jack arrived promptly. He was thorough and clearly knowledgeable about this subject. He analysed then treated the problem, but also made the time to answer my questions about the habits of vermin and the science behind the treatment. I wouldn't hesitate to use the service of this family run business again (I just hope I don't have to!) They are highly recommended.

I had used Anglo Scottish Pest Control on an other previous occasion, and because of the high quality of customer service and satisfaction I received at that time, from Gavin Lindsay(?) I think it was , I retained the number for possible future use.
I have now had an other requirement and decided to call Gavin again. Once again , I found him to be a fantastic ambassador for his company. Totally sorted me out with the highest possible solution and service available. A true gentleman and star. 100% Satisfaction guaranteed.

Gavin and Jack were very helpful and professional. They reacted very quickly to our distressed sos call. Had our newly purchased apartment and unfortunately heavily infested apartment treated for larder beetles, mice and bedbugs. Eek!

At the end of an extremely difficult week I came home to find a rat in my kitchen. Gavin came at short notice and couldn’t have been more professional, informative and reassuring. He’s done an excellent job and sorted everything out for me.

We had a mouse problem. I had laid some traps a week or two before , and had caught 7 mice. Fearing an infestation, I called Anglo-Scottish pest control. Gavin came out promptly. He inspected the situation thoroughly and said he was convinced I had cleared up the problem. Rather than charge me a call-out fee or lay his own traps he said to get back to him if I saw any further evidence of mice and he would come out to take care of the problem. He also briefed me on what to look out for.

There is no further evidence of the pests. We are now mouse-free! Gavin's honesty and desire to do the right thing by the customer is admirable, as is his thorough knowledge of how to eliminate the pests. I have no hesitation in giving him 5 stars and the highest possible recommendation.
