We are not a national Franchise company who charges high prices. We Are a local company based in the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh. Because we are mobile Locksmiths, we have next to no overheads. This means we can pass the savings onto the customer.
FIXED PRICES / NO CALL OUT FEE
All our prices at Alcatraz locksmiths are fixed. We can give a customer an accurate quote over the phone by simply asking a few questions regarding what service they need. If a customer is not sure what they are talking about or they would prefer a face to face quote that is no problem too. We will go to the property and give a free quote with absolutely no obligation to use our service

We know that customers can find themselves in a stressful situation when they have a problem with their door or window locks. That is why we will always try to accommodate a customer within an hour of receiving their call, or at at time that suits then.
We realise having problems with your locks can be stressful. That's why we aim to be at all jobs within 30 minutes of receiving the call. We accept all payment methods, and all work comes with a 1 year guarantee.

Danny/Alcatraz was recommended via social media and by this site. So glad I contacted him. He knew exactly what was needing done from my description and came out really quickly. Arrived on time, explained again what was wrong and showed me the fault. Fixed it and all done! Definitely recommend!

Courteous, high quality and utterly transparent workmanship. Danny was professional and a great guy to talk with as he worked; all the while he helped talk me through what he was doing and why (and in understandable terms too!!).

Danny came out within 15/20 minutes of calling him which was great - very quick to get us in the house (especially having kids with us) after the key broke in the lock. Would highly recommend and will use him again if needed in future.

Caught a price over the phone before we asked him to come out he arrived within the hour job was done with in 30 minutes easy to talk to new what he was doing just asked a few questions over phone and just charged the price he gave over phone it was cheap would definitely get him to come out again if we had problems would definitely recommend Alcatraz locksmiths

I locked myself out and went to work. I called up the locksmith Danny and we arranged a suitable for me to meet back at the house. He explained the charges to get me access 50 and 20 to replace the lock. I went for new replacement Chubb lock. £70. He was very friendly and the job carried out in 20 mins. I am very happy with the service. Thank you

We had two jobs one of which turned out to be a lot simpler than expected and the other a lot more tricky. The locksmith tried various solutions and sorted it all out for us - and didn't charge any extra because the first job was straightforward, which was very fair of him. Service was quick - they fitted us in the next day - and we knew what it would cost in advance. Really cheery locksmith and highly recommend this company.
