We are not a national Franchise company who charges high prices. We Are a local company based in the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh. Because we are mobile Locksmiths, we have next to no overheads. This means we can pass the savings onto the customer.
FIXED PRICES / NO CALL OUT FEE
All our prices at Alcatraz locksmiths are fixed. We can give a customer an accurate quote over the phone by simply asking a few questions regarding what service they need. If a customer is not sure what they are talking about or they would prefer a face to face quote that is no problem too. We will go to the property and give a free quote with absolutely no obligation to use our service
QUICK SERVICE
We know that customers can find themselves in a stressful situation when they have a problem with their door or window locks. That is why we will always try to accommodate a customer within an hour of receiving their call, or at at time that suits then.
We realise having problems with your locks can be stressful. That's why we aim to be at all jobs within 30 minutes of receiving the call. We accept all payment methods, and all work comes with a 1 year guarantee.

I've never left a positive review about a trader before but I would wholeheartedly recommend any friend, family or insurer about Alcatraz!! They fixed my handle within 20 mins but crucially they explained the problem was my door alignment not the handle.they upgraded the handle and realigned the door in double quick time. At any opportunity I would recommend their services. Many thanks, Gareth

My house had been broken into and the inside porch door was locked shut. I tried to unpick the lock and failed. It was after-hours, but I called Danny and he was over within 20 minutes. He managed to get the key out of the lock without damaging the old vintage door. It only took him 10 minutes. I'd highly recommend using this company.
