Replacing a double socket, a bathroom fan and a central heating control unit.

Arrived at the appointed time. All done unobtrusively, neatly and tidily. The electrician was appropriately communicative, and checked our expectations before commencing.

I called in AEF after a previous electrician vanished leaving me in a pickle. I needed a consumer unit rewired, previous wiring tested and sign off and plenty of snagging aswell. I spoke with Dave to make arrangements and he was very helpful considering the tricky mess I had. Pricing and invoicing and work was priced fairly. Communication was also excellent and my Lecky onsite was Ruriadh who turned up on time and worked hard and was very knowledgeable. So altogether I couldn't ask for more. They are now my go to Electricians and if anyone asks, these are the team I will recommend. Thank you both.

I had AEF round for an EICR followed by a full rewire of my 3 bed property, as well as a bunch of little things such as installing outdoor lights and Ring doorbell etc. They were excellent throughout, very communicative and a very high standard of work. I contacted this company for a quote to have stair-lighting repaired/replaced in our tenement stairwell and Dave from AEF responded promptly with a very reasonable quote. Within 48hrs of confirming that we wanted to proceed, an appointment was arranged, Jonny the electrician turned up on time, replaced all our lights and the timer clock within a couple of hours, and tidied up after himself. A very professional service! Would highly recommend.

AEF Electrical carried out an EICR estimate and subsequently completed all of the required and / or recommended work in January 2023. The company responded to all my questions and completed the work on time and to a high standard. They were professional and polite throughout the process. I had a power outage involving my entire kitchen, my boiler and the socket for my router. Ruairidh arrived punctually after a heavy day's work and put it right very swiftly. I am 82 and no longer climb ladders. I greatly appreciated the very professional, swift and tidy way he worked.

The work was done within 48 hours of me calling despite it being days before Xmas. The electrician was very respectful of my flat…didn’t park his van in any of the neighbours private spaces as I’ve experienced before and wore covers over his shoes.
The bathroom fan was fitted within an hour and was done very professionally by Ruairidh.

AEF have done a number of jobs for me. Small: installing an electric hob, installing a central pendant light in an upper landing. Large and difficult jobs including: moving my electrical fuse boxes from one room to another (they did this 3 years ago, and it has been faultless); installing all new wiring in a conversion and extension; and returning to supply and fit the sockets/switches/lights/electric radiators.

We had our lights upgraded and a few other thins fixed too.

Great, friendly service and we would definitely use again for all our electrical work.
