We had AB Mearns come and do some stone repairs on our house.
They came promptly and started the job within a week or two. We had between 2 and 4 stone masons on the site over a period of about 6 weeks and all were very polite and professional and did a great job of repairing our stone work. Andy called around regularly to check that the job was going well, and to talk through what the men were doing.

They tidied up really well at the end of each day, and took time to say hello and chat with our two small kids, which was very nice of them (and even bought our kids wee goodbye presents when they were leaving).

We are thrilled with the result, and would definitely recommend them without hesitation.

I live in a listed area of Edinburgh so it was important that the work needing done was compliant. AB Mearns did all the stonework to an excellent finish and standard using the old techniques such as lime to blend with the original stonework. The employed a blacksmith to replace and match the existing ironwork.
The finished result has been complemented on by all passers by and neighbours.
