Ross did a great job. Arrived as planned, very mannerable and worked very efficiently. Work included servicing our gas boiler, replacing an old radiator and several TRV’s. He also fitted a new Hive controller and made sure we were happy with the new system before leaving.

Ross and Colin carried out a full bathroom replacement, complicated by mosaic tiles on floor and walls. I can’t recommend Ross and Colin highly enough. It has been a delight to deal with them from the beginning to the end of every job they have completed for me over the past couple of years, and there have been several. They are professional and reliable and work to an extremely thorough and high standard. I live in an old house with a complicated plumbing system which they have consistently persevered with, producing excellent results. They have fully fitted a bathroom, advised on and fixed heating issues, and helped with numerous smaller jobs. They are genuine, friendly and totally trustworthy.

Ross and Colin recently upgraded my en-suite and downstairs WC and what a fantastic job they have made to both. Nothing was too much trouble, they were hard workers, arrived early ,were very friendly and they tidied and cleaned up after themselves.
Communication with Ross was excellent, he replied to my initial text message quickly and came out to quote when he said he would and I had the quote the next day. Phoned Ross yesterday afternoon re problem with waste pipe from washing machine. He came out this morning and had it sorted quickly and efficiently at a very reasonable cost. He has fitted a new tap in kitchen previously and a new sink unit in bathroom. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable plumber.

Ross was very reliable came out to give me a quote for my boiler which had broke down, he explained the choices of boiler and which would suit my needs, received quote quickly and within the week the boiler was fitted. Bathroom remodelling
Ross completely transformed my old tired bathroom into a gorgeous space which is now a pleasure to use. The whole process from measuring and pricing to completion was seamless I was more than happy with the estimate and even better the final bill came in slightly under budget! Recently had boiler pressure issues as well as hot water discolouration. Ross was very prompt in responding to my enquiry and carried out his work in a very professional manner. Ross offered some very useful advice with regards to looking after my heating and hot water system, as well as enacting an effective repair on my boiler pressure issues. This was excellent service! The tradesmen had very good manners, very polite and considerate.

Craig is a really polite, friendly guy and a diligent worker. He took time and showed great patience trying to find cause of problem. He also rectified something that was done earlier by another workman. He sourced part for the boiler, went to buy it & was soon back to fit it. I’m so glad I came across his company. Reconfigured the existing pipes in my cupboard, and added new ones to enable me to install a washing machine. Craig and Ross did a fantastic job of what was not a straightforward installation. Top floor tenement flat, central boiler location, no existing condensate drain and restricted space. Good communication before, during and after the job, including setup of Hive and registering the boiler warranty. The flat was left as clean as when they arrived and their instructions and demonstration of operation were very clear. Would highly recommend and have already ear-marked them to come back and replace my radiators in a few months time.
Update - Craig and Ross ruturned to replace my radiators. Another excellent and professional job at a very good price.

New boiler installed. Amazing service from this company (this is the first time I have ever written a review about anything or any business). They were recommended by a mate from the gym who also had a boiler installed and raved about the service and value for money. I now realise what he meant. McClintec is an outstanding example of a first rate trader and I can see why they are on the East Ayrshire Trusted list. They seem to just know how to get things right - incredible communication (kept us updated on purchase of boiler and installation time etc) great price and done in double quick time after the previous one gave up the ghost. The situation was made worse by the boiler cover plan for previous boiler not providing an engineer as quick as on the previous occasion due to the ongoing health emergency. So we gave up and went for a new one on the recommendation of this firm. McClintec came to the rescue and I can't rate them highly enough. If there were six gold stars instead of five I would happily award them that. The question I'd ask is if an East Ayrshire business like this can get it right on every level why cant the bigger boys do so? They could learn a lot from this outfit. I wouldn't hesitate to get them back and they will be servicing the Ideal boiler annually. (thinking of getting them back to replace two radiators as well). Good job guys.

I needed my walk in shower redone as I had water coming through my kitchen ceiling. I was in a local DIY store and was supplied with a few business cards one of which was for McLintec. I am so pleased I picked these boys as they carried out an excellent job. I was so pleased I recommended them to my daughter who has also now had a complete bathroom renovation done.
