Colin carried out repairs and/or replaced hip ridges and damaged tiles. Removed flue and tiled over, installed bird stop to all eves and lead work. Undid previous substandard work carried out by another roofer and made good both functional and aesthetic qualities.

I cannot recommend Burnside Roofing highly enough. It was a pleasure to do business with him. Had to wait in queue until Colin was free and weather favourable to carry out the required repairs but absolutely worth it and he was upfront about this when he called to provide an estimate.

Burnside Roofing assessed the problems with the Firestone roofing to our house extension and adjoining garage. The roofing had been poorly laid by a previous contractor. All the numerous deficiencies were identified and the necessary remedial work carried out expertly and quickly. The roofs are now restored with new fascias, edging seals and resealed roofing. I cannot recommend Burnside Roofing too highly.

Colin responded really quickly to my initial request, and attended onsite shortly afterwards to undertake a full roof assessment to enable us to make an informed decision on the amount of work required. He understood our timeframe, and was able to confirm an approximate realistic lead time to complete the work in keeping with this. His honesty and transparency was much appreciated.

The whole team worked so hard to get the job completed - arriving bang on time each morning, kept me informed through the day of progress, and a plan for the next day. Really impressed by the professionalism of Colin, Kieran and Ryan throughout the job - the ridging and chimney look fantastic now - and the clean up operation once the work was complete was impressive. Very thorough!

Colin has been my slater over many years he always does a thorough job and leaves everything tidy and gives value for money. I’ve asked him to solve leaks I’ve had with my rear roof that was renewed by a different roof company 3 years ago. Wouldn’t go past him for a job well done.

Second time I have used this company (we had them remove old chimneys and rebuild one previously). This time it was general repair work on our slate roof to prepare it for the winter. During a spell of bad weather our roof was damaged. I checked the 'Trusted Trader' register and contacted Burnside for a quote.

This was acceptable to both myself and my insurers. Colin complied with the details needed by my insurers, explained what the work entailed and got the go-ahead for the job.
