Scaffolding built on both front and back of house to provide edge protection. Kevin had tiled a house over the road from us and we were extremely impressed with the result. We also asked our neighbours if they would recommend him and there was no hesitation.
We had the underfelt, tiling batons and slates replaced on our semi detached house. The guys turned up and explained what they would be doing on the first day and that the job would take about 2 days.
They were a brilliant team of guys and very hard working. Job was completed on time and both front and backdoor areas cleaned when they finished.
If you want your roof done professionally this is the company to use.

Complete roof refurbishment consisting of removal of chimneys and new membrane, new slate, new leadwork, new fascias, new guttering and new velux - if you see it, its new! Kevin is very knowledgable and professional and an easy guy to deal with.

He well understood and explained what was possible and carried that the work that was agreed.

There was considerable delay in starting due to weather and other jobs, but Kevin kept in touch and we agreed that job should not be done in winter. I was happy with the approach.

The employees were mainly time served roofers with many years experience and this is evidenced by the uniformity of the finished roof which has had many comments from passers by.

In addition, the sarking was replaced and renailed as necessary to ensure the integrity of the slates.

Whilst reroofing is quite a dirty job, the guys kept the site tidy as best, most of the time.

Kevin visited on a regular basis to ensure the job was going smoothly and to the high quality standards he operates to.

On completion, there were a few minor snagging issues which were readily agreed and rectified quickly.

Sarking replaced along with new roof tiles. Roof was examined and work required was fully explained in terms easily understood. A quotation was provided and adhered to. The work was carried out very efficiently and diligently. We are pleased with the work carried out and with the professionalism of the firm.

New roof on house Apart from the waiting time to have the work done, when they started everything was done in just over a week. No disruption to our life at all. They worked really hard and we are very happy with the result.

Roughcasting existing brick wall Excellent work, clean and tidy work, no mess left, on the whole very impressed and the wall looks great.

Replace damaged/dislodged slates My only disappointment was that we were not told that the quoted price was exclusive of VAT - I only found this out on invoice.

I have a traditional bungalow which required replacement sofits, gutters and downpipes. Kevin Aitken roofing provided a written quote which was detailed and explained the work to be done and itemised the costs of labour and material for each part of the work. The quote was very competitive. The work was carried out over several days with a full squad turning out each day. The work was completed to a high standard, on schedule and for the price quoted.
I also had some slate work carried out which was attended to within a few days of contacting Kevin and again was very reasonably priced.

Hi Kevin Aitken Roofing recently carried out major work at my property in Newmilns
East Ayrshire.
We had our roof replaced and rendering to 3 sides of our house.
I had my full roof replaced , with lead coverings to the valleys, dormas, new guttering and fascia boards.
All areas were tidied and power washed afterwards
Although the team had awful weather conditions to deal with the outcome was amazing.
