I residential front door. We had a few minor problems which were rectified.
1. letterbox was not sealed allowing rain to come in
2.threshold panel had to be replaced due to incorrect fall.
3. door mechanism required to be adjusted a couple of times.

The young man, who did the work, was pleasant and helpful and very tidy. Pleased with 10 year guarantee but disappointed that letterbox and handle etc. are only guaranteed for 1 year.

Installation of new windows (8) and a door. Windows & a door fitted with a selection of issues. Whilst Caledonian addressed most, it felt in the end that we were just an inconvenience. There is a difference in opinion between Sales & Joiners, which is misleading. We are pleased with our windows, despite one being fitted with a chip. However we were not pleased with the attention to detail, care & quality of some products. Almost all our trim & sills inside were fitted scratched. Due to the poor look & finish on our bays we were offered oak sills, however they were scratched, but still fitted & deemed acceptable by Caledonian. We are on our 5th door, the 4 prior were marked or had chipped glass. Our door frame cracked twice on the inside & needed replaced. The silicone is poorly finished on all. We now have small black spots forming on some parts of the silicone, despite only fitted 8 months ago. To sum up, if the quality of product, care and workmanship was 100% then there wouldn''t have been these issues.

Removed old roofline and gutters and downpipe replaced as above with white PVC and installed two outside lights. Although starting job over a month late this was no prob.

Remove 100 year old storm doors replace with part glazed french doors at front of house, the old ones let in water when raining. Absolutely delighted with Caledonian's service and the French doors look magnificent and most compatible with our old style cottage (so far gone dry!)

2. French doors Very pleased with French doors and guidance from Ian Hyslop. Our house is nearly 100 yrs old and so it was so important to get the right design for doors. The finish product is truly magnificent. They match our front door also carried out by Caledonian.

UPVC "Rock" door installed 2019 No proactive contact from company to finalize installation date or 2 service visits to check and replace draugh excluder. Had to phone to chase up on each occasion - disappointing target fit date feb, fitted 6 march (Door). Completion date -1 May (awaiting draught excluder).
Suggest customers are informed when I delays occur. Thank you.

Caledonian came recommended and I am certainly glad I went with them.

5 windows and rock door Workmen were quick, careful polite and did a good job and finish.
Felt I had to change for dates and completion of work, rather than being updated.
Initial man providing quote gave very limited info and had not been a customer previously, I'd not have followed on basis of his visit.
