Business Information
We are a family run business intent on making a difference by providing the best insulation to help people reduce the amount of energy they use and therefore reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint. We service residential and commercial properties, including village/community halls.
We have insulation options to suit every build and every preference. The products we use are high quality, breathable and accredited.
We are Trustmark approved so can carry out work under the Home Energy Scotland scheme, we install the following measures:
* Loft
* Pitched Roof
* Room in Roof
* Floor
* Internal Wall
We are one of only 47 National Insulation Association's trusted installers across the whole of the UK ✅
We are also SMAS work safe/ SSIP accredited ✅
If your property is located in the Scottish Borders we will visit you free of charge to carry out a full survey and will make recommendations that are tailored to your property type.

When we decided to have under floor insulation, we approached Shelbourne and Greer Ltd for an initial survey and quote. We were very impressed by the knowledge and expertise of the surveyor.
Also the actual job was done efficiently. The team members were very good and friendly.

We had Knauf 52mm internal wall insulation panelling fitted on 80% of the inside of the exterior walls of our 150 year old two storey cottage. They also topped up our loft insulation with an additional 100mm of rock wool. Our EPC rating is now”B” . The contractors were very obliging and explained all the stages involved and kept us updated as the work progressed over 3 weeks. The quality of the work was first class especially the considerable amount of woodwork involved.

Loft Insulation - Craig and the team provided an excellent service. From the first assessment of the work required and the initial invoice to the work completion we were delighted with the service provide. The initial invoice was revised as the cost of the insulation provided by the wholesaler was reduced and this was immediately passed on to us. Dates and times given for the work to be carried out were honoured and the clean up at the end was excellent. At all times we were treated with courtesy and a clear explanation of the work to be performed was given with photo documentary evidence. Overall we were very happy with the work performed.

We had loft insulation installed. Despite the challenges our old house and its odd loft spaces, they took it all in their stride. The photographic report at the end of the work was a nice touch. Professional and pleasant. Would recommend them highly.
