S&P Renewables fitted my Solar PV panels and battery storage. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company - everything was done quickly and efficiently and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly at every stage from the initial survey to completion of installation.

Installation of a residential PV system with storage on and in a detached garage. All completed within 3 months from initial contact. There was considerable discussion initially around the principal involved and on the detail of scale and design. The work itself was done in a day and included a welcome improvement in the panel layout identified on site by the very organised and efficient installation team. Always preferring to use local service suppliers if possible, S & P have been the right choice for this job as they have been readily contactable throughout and everything has been much more personalised than proposals that were obtained from others.

We have previously had solar panels/batteries installed and this week have had replacement batteries fitted.
We have always had excellent, prompt and professional service from this company and their work force are a pleasure to have in our home - particularly Teo who is very pleasant, helpful and has a great work ethic !!

Batteries installed and solar panels installed, guys were tidy and conscientious about their workmanship, kept us informed all the way through what was happening next.

We initially had solar panels fitted in 2019 an were really impressed with the quality of work the price and the communications with Safe & Protect. The work was done efficiently and there was no mess in the house. More recently we had batteries fitted to our system and again the price, communications and completion of the work was brilliant. The tradespeople who came to my house were polite, respectful and trustworthy.

Full new heating system, solar panels, heat pump, boiler, inverter and radiators. This was done through a government grant scheme so they were the nominated contractor. Work was all done as planned ie time scales. There was a few teething problems but full credut to the company, all problems were sorted as quickly as possible and full system is working as promised. All staff were polite and knew exactly what they were doing. Would certainly ask this company to do any further work that may be needed.

Received a number of quotes from different PV suppliers however S&P Renewables discussed and explained the options in a much clearer way, helped me to decide the best solar solution for my needs.

I have just had Solar PV panels, Storage Batteries and Inverter installed by S&P Renewables and I'm very happy with the installation, from my initial contact right through to commissioning of my system. Ewan answered all my questions and explained everything to me. My two installers and electrician could not have been more helpful asking at each stage of the install if I was happy with the work so far?
I carried out some of the civils work for them so as to make things easier and to save some time and in turn have as little disruption to my normal day to day life although to be honest there was very little disruption.
I would happily recommend S&P Renewables.

S&P installed Solar Panel PV System with battery back up at the village hall. Excellent job which will assist in reducing the hall's energy bill. Great advice and service from Euan and the team. Can highly recommend.

The task was to install 18 PV panels, a 3-phase inverter & 10kWh of battery storage at St Boswells Village Hall, which is a Victorian-era building situated within a conservation area. Safe & Protect was selected on the basis of (i) price; and (ii) track record. The Welsh slate roof needed to be refurbished beforehand so S&P arranged for a scaffold and then coordinated with the roofer to have the PV panel support brackets fitted at the same time. The project was funded by grants and they showed heroic levels of patience whilst we waited for the money to come through. Once the S&P team arrived on site the work was completed quickly and efficiently, and the system performance so far has been at least as good as the original estimate - which translates into very important cash savings for the charity that operates the hall. The S&P team is very busy so contacting them can sometimes take a little longer than would be ideal - but that is a trivial observation and well worth putting up with in exchange for their excellent service. Would I use S&P again? You bet I would!

S&P Renewables have installed our Solar Panels and Battery and we now await installation of our Heat Pump System.
