Six batteries connected to our existing solar panels. Very pleased with the work. It was well organised, the equipment arrived on time and the two engineers arrived as arranged. They were polite, helpful and worked very hard. They left a clean and tidy setup. Once our new electricity tariff was arranged, I was able to phone the firm and immediately received a helpful response to my questions.

S&P took on the task of replacing a commercial gas boiler with an array of three 12kW Vaillant heat pumps at St Boswells Village Hall. The heating is divided into four zones, with three being controlled by the Vaillant system and one via hard-wired logic. The requirement was in two parts: firstly, the building must be at least as warm as with the original heating system; and secondly, the running costs must be no more than that of the boiler. The system installed by S&P has exceeded both of those requirements and we now have a luxuriously warm building with lower running costs. As other reviewers have said, the S&P team is nothing short of excellent to deal with. This was one of the more complex installations they have undertaken and the fact that it was completed and put into operation with minimal fuss is a testament to the professionalism of this firm. What an asset to the Scottish Borders!

The staff from S&P renewables provided an excellent service from start to finish. The installers were friendly, helpful, reliable and very efficient and cannot fault their workmanship. Everything was left neat and tidy and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a solar installation.

Second time using this company for solar panels and battery installation. A smooth informative process. Very quick installation and the 2 guys on the day were really great. They explained everything they were doing clearly, worked hard all day even in the freezing weather conditions and were very neat and tidy. A very high standard of workmanship and would highly recommend this local independent company.

I would highly recommend this fantastic company to anyone looking to reduce their energy bills and go green with solar. I was unsure about the process & if solar was beneficial for my house. My worries were soon put to rest with a visit from Euan who answered my array of questions. The installers Teo & Sam were polite & eager to get started once arriving. They left a clean & tidy professional job. Aftercare was swiftly in place from the office staff to make sure I was set Up with the correct apps etc moving forward.. very happy customer.

They turned up on the day they said and the work was very neat & tidy. There are a very helpful Company if you have any questions about fitting PV panels and a battery Storage system to our new building.

Work was completed in good time. We were very pleased with the communication and the quality of work carried out and will definitely use S&P again if we need more work.

From the first property survey to the installation of our Air Source Heat pump, Ewan and his team in the office and on site provided an excellent service, completing the work to a very high standard within 4 days. Communication was very good and once the installation was complete, the house was left very clean and tidy, and some additional work to resolve an issue with the batch was all part of the service. Ewan also liaised with Thomas form Border Insulation (who also did an excellent job), to ensure that the underfloor insulation was put in place as soon as the pipework for the central heating system had been put in place. This ensured that all the work was completed within a week, minimising the time we spent out of the house (this is recommended if getting a wet system, ASHP and insulation installed). All in all, we would highly recommend S&P, and should we decide to install a PV system in the furture, we will certainly be using them again.

The company installed a new inverter and battery for my existing solar panels, from the initial site meeting with the director who gave me my options, to the installation of the new inverter and battery, the staff I dealt with were first rate they explained everything and were very supportive throughout the whole process.

The guys who came to install everything were here on time and we had a couple of challenges with the existing set up which needed to be upgraded, they kept me aware of what they were doing and why, they were great very tidy when they had finished the installation with the minimum amount of disruption. They were not able to do the final connection on the installation day.

I was contacted by the office team who told me what I needed to do to get this isolation switch fitted from my energy provider, which was the only stressful part of the whole process, this was due to my energy provider not S&P. Once this switch was installed one of the installation team came back and finished the job.

I would definitely recommend this company who were really great from the beginning to end, they are very professional and approachable when things are not straightforward and get the job finished.

Ewan and his team have just fitted 28 solar panels and batteries for us. From initial visit through to completion of the installation we found them extremely helpful, reliable and easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend them to anyone considering installing solar power.
