Fitting of shower and replacing faulty components of Cylinder. In all ways Thomson’s were first class . David, who carried out the work, did so quickly with no fuss and no issues. He clearly really knows what he is doing. Out contact with the staff of Thomson’s by phone, email and text was great and all arrangements re. when the work would be done, quotes clear and on time, receipts for payment immediately it was made. Also everyone had a very pleasant manner and made the completion of the job very simple. Would certainly use again and recommend to others.

I needed the warm air unit in my home replaced but suppliers were pushing to convert to radiators instead which would have been both a major disruption & expense. I was recommended Thomson Heating by the warm air unit manufacturer & what a wonderful find they were. Professional & friendly throughout the process. They came out, gave me a quote & then took 2 days to install a new combi boiler & warm air unit. No hassle, no drama just hard working installers who tidied up after themselves & kept me informed throughout. Fantastic service from start to finish.

I needed to have my shower resealed, new valves on an en suite radiator and and old radiator removed in the living room and replaced with a new vertical one. I’d been let down by other plumbers who said they would come and never appeared !!! Thomson heating were a breath of fresh air, very professional in every way , excellent correspondence, came when they said they would , fair price for really excellent work…. I had an awkward blocked domestic drain problem and leak. Part of the operation involved difficult access under the house and required a competent plan of action.
Thomsons carried out the clearance of the blockage and repair diligently and I was very pleased with the outcome.

I had a leak in one of my radiators and also my CO2 alarm. I called in the evening. I received a call back within 15 minutes. I was informed they would call me at 9.00 a.m. the following morning to arrange an appointment to repair the radiator. This happened and my radiator was repaired and a new CO2 alarm. I am more than satisfied with the service supplied and would recommend this company without any hesitation.

We had a new boiler installed and are very happy with all the time put in to having conversations about the best boiler for our needs, whether to repair or replace the old boiler and a very quick response and turn around. Work done very tidily and clean out if the system before the new boiler went in. Couldn't be happier - and notice a big difference in the room temperature when we tried the heating out.

On reflection i wonder if we should have asked about cleaning out our radiators before installation of the new boiler as well but the job that needed doing was done efficiently and the workman was very tidy.
He went further and helped with a gas leak in the kitchen and gave advice.

Dealt with different people, doing, different roles, within the company and talked us through options to allow us to make an informed decision. Very early doors, felt really comfortable and no 'hard sell'. 'Value for money' - gave '4' as no real comparison to others. All comms efficient to keep us both informed as to purchase and actions. Day of install - arrived on time and just got on with the job. Don't know what they're called but 'protectiony' things all on floor and wouldn't have know install had happened - thorough tidying and cleaning. In our opinion, great work by a great company. I have used this trader previously and was confident that the service /products used would be of a extremely high standard and so it proved, i was delighted by work undertaken by engineer to install 3 new radiators in home, and have no problem recommending this company.

Replacement gas boiler.
David was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Work was completed within the time scale given. No mess and explained everything regarding the digital controls. He even set the times and temperatures for us. The old boiler was taken away the next day and the work done in sealing the flue was perfect.

Happy with work done

Our boiler died one Thursday and Thomson Heating fitted a new one for us on Saturday of the same week. There was no option as the parts we needed to effect a repair just weren't available. Their engineer, Chris, a very efficient, tidy worker, completed the job in just a few hours and when he left you would never have known he’d been there… apart, that is, from the shiny new boiler. Having your boiler go down can be quite a traumatic experience but everyone at Thomson Heating pulled together and sorted it within 48hrs. Excellent customer service. I’d recommend this company to anybody without hesitation.
