Norman was worth wait. Covid demands had impacted on his time scale, but he was as good as his word and his work is excellent. He was on time every day went over the plans for the decking area, and communicated plans for each stage every day.

Repair to handrails of decking installed by Deckin’ Design about 15 years ago. This was to address one very small piece of wet rot on one handrail, which is less than expected for the area of decking we have. Norman installed our decking about 15 years ago and a few years back, I stripped it back to bare wood and oiled it. It now gets an annual light pressure wash and oiled. Still looks great. Would highly recommend this company if you want solid quality decking that will last for many years.

The works were to erect a new boundary fence and dismantle and dispose of most of the old one and blend parts of the old fence into the landscape. I found Norman to be highly professional and competent throughout . He kept me up to date with progress as the works progressed and his advice regarding ensuring the result was aesthetically pleasing was invaluable. The standard of workmanship is exceptional and I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Dekin' Design

Asked Norman to design a step idea for our BBQ hut. He took his time to develop an idea and emailed his plan and estimate to us. We are delighted at the finished result but probably more impressed by the quality of the patio and wraparound steps. Engineered (not an exaggeration) to an exceptional standard and at a very competitive price. I would not hesitate to recommend Norman for any such job; in fact we have already asked him to quote for another decking idea. Top quality and very affordable.

Excellent quality of work and attention to detail. This is my 2nd time using Decking Design and would highly recommend them.

Prior to commencement of work, Norman took time to fully discuss our requirements taking into consideration my mobility problems and proffered suggestions to make the area more accessible and user friendly. Norman and Hugh then dismantled our old deck and re-instated a new very professionally finished deck and step area Subsequently our finished decking now enables me to safely access the back garden. Throughout the contract both Norman and Hugh, at all times, conducted themselves in a very polite, courteous and professional manner. Even although, some days, the weather was less than helpful our deck was finished on schedule and the garden left completely cleaned down and tidy.

We had 2 fence panels fitted and Norman made 2 gates for my back garden. The work done by Norman and Hugh was to the highest standard especially give the challenging weather conditions. I would highly recommend Norman so much so that I am waiting for a gap in his work schedule to do other work for me.

Very happy with the quality of the work work carried out by Norman at Deckin Design.

Norman erected this fence and gate for me recently. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing this type of work done. Everything was completed to a high standard and I am very happy with it.

Dekin' Design were great from the first e-mail contact all the way through to the completed deck. Norman listened to the requirements and added additional value by suggesting cost effective details to make the deck even better.

There was great attention to detail and time was taken to explain the work, price and time it would take.

I would very much recommend this company if you are thinking of creating a decked area. The work was also undertaken just after lock-down and the company took great care to distance and take any measures identified as necessary.

From start to finish Norman was professional and curious throughout the days he was working doing the decking in the garden, his finish and attention to detail was fantastic and you can see from his standard of work he takes a lot of pride in what he does. We were over the moon with the completed decking and would not have any issues recommending Norman to our neighbours if they wanted anything done. He planned, priced and sourced materials within weeks considering the issues were facing at the moment and did one cracking job. If you’re wanting decking done then Norman is the man for the job !!

We wanted a small decked area of 3m x 3m in the garden. We contacted Norman who gave us some ideas and showed us the picture frame and angled decking that we thought would look great and the final result didn’t disappoint.

We had decking installed and are absolutely delighted with the quality and attention to detail.
Norman provided an excellent service from initial planning talking us through various options and the actual installation itself. The weather was terrible throughout the installation but this did not deter Norman to get the job done. Very impressive and a very hard worker.

Decking installed in rear garden. Good all round experience and done everything they said they would do.

Norman has just built a second deck for us having already built us one a number of years ago.
The area of the garden wasn’t the easiest to work with yet he designed and built a deck that looks fantastic and has transformed that area of the garden. He is good at working with you to get the best solution.
The quality of his workmanship is fantastic and he ensures attention to detail which is clear in the finish.
He is also very reasonably priced. We would recommend and would not hesitate to use him again.
