Thistle Locks is a family run business based in Inverkeithing with over 20 years of experience. We provide a first class service to customers throughout the Kingdom of Fife and the surrounding areas.
In order to enable our customers to relax, free from worry about their security issues, a free of charge security survey can be carried out to ensure the best advice for your property.
Our local highly skilled locksmiths provide a second to none professional service.

We were assisted by Thistle locks recently and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They resolved the main issue promptly and then reviewed some other issues too. The service provided was faultless and we will definitely use them for any future concerns.

Front door locks changed and patio doors fixed. Phoned in the morning and it was done by early afternoon.

I needed all the locks in the house changed and arranged a date in advance for attendance. Sandy came on the day agreed, did the work quickly and cleanly. He also advised on a summerhouse lock and did an extra door that I hadn't realised would need doing (and even fixed a wonky door). Highly recommended.

This is the third time I have used Thistle Locks and Alarms. Each time they have provided exemplary service. My initial phone call was dealt with in a polite and super effecient manner. The locksmiths arrived promptly and replaced the lock on my garage door quickly and efficiently. No fuss or mess. It was a pleasure to see craftsmen at work. I will certainly use Thistle Locks again amd recommend them. Absolutey first class service.

Thistle locksmith came out to us to check a lock which had been acting up . It was thoroughly checked over and was working again appropriately. Locksmith explained hot weather was likely to be cause. He wouldn’t take any money as a call out charge. He was prompt, pleasant and efficient and we were very pleased with this service. We would definitely recommend this company as most reliable and fair.

I was having problems with an outside door. Phoned on Tuesday and they came on Wednesday, arrived when they said they would.
Door was fixed in around an hour, I thought it was the lock but it was actually the door that needed realigned.
Really professional and polite and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use again.
Price was also reasonable I was expecting a hefty bill for this so was pleasantly surprised!
