Taylor Joinery Services undertook a complex internal and external renovation of our 40 year old property. From the initial consultation to the project completion, Philip and his team impressed us with their attention to detail, craftsmanship and customer service. They were always willing to explain things and listened to us when we were discussing the project progress.
Now completed, we have a new and enlarged kitchen formed from our original kitchen and an adjacent bedroom, a new sunroom, two refurbished and extended bathrooms, two extended bedrooms and an open plan living area formed from a living room and dining room. We are very happy with our renovation and appreciative of Taylor Joinery Services for sticking to their timescale and delivering a high quality product for a reasonable, value for money, price. We would wholeheartedly recommend them.

New bathroom, en-suite and and a replacement inside wall. All completed on time, within the prices quoted. The quality of the workmanship is first class and the workmen helpful and considerate with all clearing up carried out after each day. The projects took two weeks to complete and we are delighted with the work.

3 failed double glazing units replaced and new upvc window fitted in kitchen. Fantastic and friendly service from start to finish. We had a new kitchen including all new appliances and laminate flooring installed. The 2 guys that were here were exceptional, minimal disruption and nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything all finished on time and couldn't be more pleased with the finished job.

Had interior walls replaced with insulation fitted in our Scout Hall. One room was also fitted out with replacement cupboards for secure storage and the pipework for our heating system was all boxed in with suitable access hatches added. Phil always listened to our requirements, discussed and offered experienced input and the work was completed as discussed and agreed. Would very much recommend.

Over the years Taylor Joinery Services Limited has carried out 3 extensions to the house, fitted a kitchen and added a fourth bedroom.

We are very pleased with the work done, the finish and the friendly and professional staff.

After a leak we were instructed by our insurer to obtain quotes and though Taylor joinery were our middle quote we opted for them as cheapest isnt always best. We had been recommended Taylor's by trusted friends too.
Communication was always good and they came when promised. Due to lockdowns and availability we had to wait for the work to be started but we were not disappointed once it was completed. They listened to our needs and did a couple of extra things for us with no hassle.
They came to discuss the work a few days before starting and the trades people were pleasant and left our home tidy.
Would definitely use again and recommend

Creating large new kitchen by knocking down wall between existing kitchen and bathroom and part of the existing hallway. Creating new bathroom in a single bathroom. New flooring through out and in the hallway.
A very good experience with this trader very reliable and a really good finished job. Delighted with the outcome.

The work was to create a large open plan kitchen / dining room and new utility room by changing existing separate kitchen, dining , living room and utility rooms and using some of the garage space.
So 3 walls taken down, 2 steel beams inserted, new walls and utility room, boiler repositioned, new kitchen fully fitted later we have a fantastic end result. Phil Taylor provided lots of invaluable advice, drawing from his vast experience , from getting the project defined all the way through to completion. The team he supplied were excellent, great attention to detail and very professional. The sub contractors, Beath Electrical, Eddie Spence Plumbing & Heating, Andy Dobbin and Son Plastering and Alan Hooper Ames Taping and Decorater are all highly professional tradesmen. I have huge respect for trades who advise you not to do something because it’s not the right thing to do even when it means less work for them ! All work completed at or below estimates.

Following a succession of smaller jobs over the last 18 months, I commissioned Taylor Joinery Services to build a small conservatory and organise all the trades on my behalf.
As on previous occasions, the work was undertaken to the highest possible standard with great attention to detail resulting in my expectations being met or exceeded, all for a very fair price. Phil had a robust, bespoke, kit manufactured locally, and all other materials were also sourced from suppliers based in the area.
The site was left very tidy each night by the various trades who minimised disruption and were a pleasure to have around. They all went beyond the call of duty in ensuring a high-quality finish.
The professionalism shown by Phil and his trade colleagues is mirrored by his administrator, Rhona, who provides vital support.
In summary, my wife and are delighted with the transformation to our home and continue to recommend Taylor Joinery Services who we shall ask to undertake further work for us in the future.

Wow - mind blown and expectations exceeded.

I love my new kitchen, (and so do all my family, friends and visitors) and that in no small part is as a result of Phil and his team’s expertise - not least in all the small touches that are the difference that makes the difference.

In addition to a gorgeous new kitchen they were prompt, tidy, courteous, and helpful. Always mindful that it was my kitchen and I needed to be happy - ie questioning initial thoughts where their expertise suggested these was an alternative, and yet listening to my needs to ensure they were met. The seating area in-front of the window was one such collaboration and gets “wows” and “what a great idea” from all visitors.

Management of the subcontractors also eased the pressure on me and ensured the project was completed on time.

Have used Taylor Joinery Services for the last 15 years. Philip always tries to do his best to accommodate the wishes of his customer.

High standard of workmanship. All his workers were cheerful and ready to assist with the 'unexpected'; tidied up after themselves. Have used TJS before and would have no hesitation in recommending them. TJS supplied all the trades and co-ordinated all activities - made life a lot simpler.

This job was removing old flat roof felt and replacing with RubberCover.
We have used TJS several times, their staff are helpful,friendly and do a great job. In this case the weather was not kind yet we suffered no water ingress.

Phil Taylor's team undertook 3 jobs for me over a period of a few months. These were: (1) Replace defective bath panel with bespoke tongue and groove version, (2) Replace colonial kitchen door with half glazed unit and (3) Replace existing alloy front door with resin, highly insulated, Rockdoor.
Phil, his team of joiners and Rhona the administrator were courteous, professional and effective at all times. The work was undertaken on the agreed dates and the joiners made a point of tidying up afterwards, which included sweeping my driveway.
Job pricing was very reasonable and my home has been transformed for a respectable cost.

Based on my favourable experiences, I highly recommend this business and would use them again, without hesitation.
