Adjustment/ repair to a sticking front door and change of handles to two windows that were not locking. Same day service. Such an unexpected surprise. Friendly,professional and tidy. Much appreciated.

I emailed Stuart today asking him if he could replace a broken gutter bracket and sort out a leaking down pipe. He responded quickly and this afternoon to my total surprise Grant and his assistant, two friendly and polite guys completed the work in about 15 minutes. A further unexpected surprise came when Stuart later advised that there would be no charge on this occasion as it was only two little jobs.
What a pleasure to do business with such an efficient and generous tradesman.
I will definitely be using his services again. for a fee of course, and will recommend his Company to anyone needing a reliable handyman service.

Replacement door lock.

Was recommended by Fife Council and so glad they did. Locksmith companies were trying to charge us double the call out fee and replace whole door mechanism when it was just a corroded lock. Stuart was clear with pricing and informing us when he could come. Fitted us in the next day as we were headed back down south and my mum would be on her own so understood importance of her having a working lock before we went. He suggested a better type of lock at no extra cost and serviced the rest of the door mechanism. He was quick, polite and efficient. I would definitely recommend him and will keep his details for if mum needs further work done as has been let down by other tradesmen in the past.

Replacement of blown double glazing glass in conservatory.Stuart replied to email quickly and work was carried out to a high standard.

Called to get a double glazed unit replaced, Stuart responded immediately came quoted for the job and replaced all within one week.

Ordered new glass and fitted for a broken window in a door, all done within 3 weeks.

I emailed Stuart today asking him if he could look at a very small job replacing broken hinges on a kitchen cabinet. He replied within half an hour and arranged for Andy and his assistant to come to the house this afternoon. They arrived and completed the job quickly and efficiently.

It was a small job, certainly, but I was amazed when Stuart this evening told me "No charge on this occasion", as his guys had been working near by and had the hinges in stock on the van. I can't beat that for generosity. I would definitely call on Stuart again and, of course, I would expect to be charged for the work.

Had worn out balcony floor replaced by Stuart and his team.
Stuart was very prompt with estimate and responded immediately to
all my queries. Balcony railings removed and old floor replaced and
railings refitted.
Delighted with finish and quality and area was left very tidy.

Stuart Hamilton joinery removed and replaced windows. Removed plaster board, fitted insulation and replaster boarded a few rooms. They were a fantastic team, worked efficiently and professionally. New garage roof, facias and soffits - work carried out speedily and professionally to a very high standard. All rubbish and debris removed. Tradesmen were friendly and communicative and mindful of causing minimal disruption to the dogs at the property by remembering to close the gate and not leave sharp objects lying around overnight. Very pleased, would recommend, have used before and would use again.

Fit false ceiling in staircase, tape and paint.
Work carried very competently and to a high standard by all workment who carried out the work, area was cleaned and any materials left were removed by workmen. I would recomment this firm to anyone considering carrying out any joinery work.

We needed a front door and porch door removed and replaced with a new front door. Stuart quoted a few options for the work to help us decide what we wanted. Once door was ordered, Stuart's team did the work in a day. Quality of workmanship and finish was very high standard. A few months later we needed a first floor window replaced and did not hesitate to ask Stuart for a quote. Four weeks later, new window was fitted in a morning to the same high standard. Very pleased with the work and would happily use Stuart Hamilton Joinery again.

Recently had work carried out by this company at my house. The job was completed quickly and professionally with Stuart and his team happy to communicate back and forth. Extremely happy with result of job (kitchen fit plus additional materials, flooring, boarding up alcove) and price was very reasonable considering the scale and time. Would definitely use this company again and recommend to anyone needing joinery work.

I bought a home that was a renovation project and was totally overwhelmed with where to start. Stuart and his team were fantastic, Stuart had some great ideas and brought in some quality trades folk to deal with all the various tasks needing done which he oversaw. I had attic bedrooms with sagging floors that needed corrected and insulated, I needed a new heating system installed, some re-wiring done and a new kitchen fitted. Six weeks of upheaval but the workers were in working hard every day, the communication was excellent and importantly when completed the cost was as quoted. One completed Stuart came round to check everything was completed to a high standard and I was happy with the work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the and look forward to having them back in the future.

I needed 3 doors trimmed and new threshhold after new carpet was laid.
I contacted Stuart to ask if and when he would be able to do this work.
He said if I let him know once the carpet had been laid he would try to get joiners out the same day. It was later in the day when the carpet was fitted so phoned him the next morning. He confirmed he would try to get joiners out later, dependant on other work commitments.
The joiners arrived that afternoon and completed the work to my satisfaction.
On both occasions when I contacted Stuart he was both helpful and professional. This was mirrored by the joiners who carried out the work.
