After having another local company out (who were complete cowboys that did works to gain further jobs) I was quite anxious about other roofers providing the same sort of service. But SM Roofing's name was thrown into the hat many times by clients of mine. From the first point of contact (Kelly) to the lads knocking the door to say all done. I won't have any hesitation in passing on their details. Honest from the start. My only regret is not getting them to do it in the first place and instead going with a cheaper quote. Sometimes if you pay peanuts you get monkeys and there are none of them at SM Roofing.

My flat roof was leaking water into the bedroom and was needing a reliable company to attend to this urgently.
I contacted SM Roofing Glenrothes and spoke to Kelly in the office and was told the owner Stevie would come to my home to assess what was required at 9am Tuesday and at 9am and on the dot Stevie was at my door.
He knew they urgency and got his guys Mark & Conner straight onto the job, they were so polite and professional I could not have got a better service anywhere.
I would recommend anyone looking for a roofing company to look no further than SM Roofing.

Required renewal of gutters to one side of two adjoining properties. Stevie McQueen surveyed the job and sent a quote for works involved on same day. Roofers turned up as advised on first available day and work was completed to excellent standard. Very satisfied with customer care and liaison throughout. The cost of the work was very competitive and offered terrific value for money. Would recommend this firm to anyone seeking roof/gutter repairs or replacement. Cannot speak too highly of the service received from Stevie and his team. Customer satisfaction is obviously very important to this local firm.

Steve came quickly and gave a competitive price for the job of renewing the leaking garage roof. Within a few weeks a couple of his team came and efficiently removed the old roof leaving no mess. They did an excellent neat job of renewing the roof. It comes with a 10 year guarantee. It now looks like a brand new garage. I have no hesitation in recommending SMRoofing and Building Ltd.

Whilst replacement of the guttering is on the back burner for a number of reasons Stevie, having inspected my mum's roof, identified the issues, outlined costs and added her address to the companies maintenance list. Kelly phoned my mum and confirmed the above and agreed to confirm a time the work would be carried out.
Needless to say the work was carried out on my mum's roof to a very high standard; when young Stevie arrived he explained to mum what he was going to do and got on and did the job.

Excellent overall experience. Work done to the highest standards and in good time. Was advised to go for grey tiles rather than terracotta and the result on my bungalow and garage is stunning. It also blends nicely with other houses in the street which generally have faded terracotta.


The initial quotation was very fair and prior to and throughout the construction I was kept regularly informed as to what was happening.


I would recommend Stevie to anyone in Fife who requires a replacement roof.

Superb company to deal with. Kelly in the office is fantastic and the work carried out by Stevie and his gang is of the highest standard. The other Stevie, the boss, gives great advice on his site visit. Used the company three times now for roofing and landscaping work on an old sandstone property and would not hesitate to use them again.
