My elderly mother experienced a power outage on her downstairs bathroom extension (lights and sockets). As I was not able to look into this myself, I called Mike at M A Electrical Scotland to see if he would pop round to investigate.

He did so even though the weather was atrocious at the time and resolved the problem very quickly. Mike was very courteous with my mum, helpful and explained everything to her so she could understand.

I contacted M.A Electrical to have an outdoor light fitted for my mum. The job was done the very next day and she is really pleased. I no longer live in the area, so I was really happy to find Fife trusted trader. Communication from Mike was great and I really appreciate how quickly the work was carried out.

I wanted to install new lights and replace others. Mike replied to my call within the hour and, as he was on a job nearby, visited that morning to discuss the options in person. The work was later carried out by Reece in a systematic and tidy way, taking time to demonstrate each job to check that I was happy with them. My home was left spotless. Both Mike and Reece are both professional and pleasant to do business with.

had total failure of my house's electrics; Mike and Reece came out that day and managed to restore most of the service and completed the work shortly afterwards. All done carefully and thoroughly. Pricing very reasonable. Happy to use again.

I called Mike on Wednesday, I needed a new bathroom fan fitted.
He gave me a very reasonable estimate of cost, and we agreed on Friday for his visit. He texted an hour beforehand as agreed and arrived on time. He did the job efficiently and charged a bit less as it took him less time than he had thought. He offered to clear up, but there was little mess and I was happy to do this myself.
Excellent service, would highly recommend him.

I can’t recommend Mike and Reece highly enough.
They undertook full rewiring of my house and kept me informed throughout the work.
I was amazed how little mess was made despite areas of floorboards in all rooms being lifted to install wiring.
They even cut carefully around wallpaper when installing wiring and new sockets if I wanted to do a quick patch up.
Furniture was all moved and placed back once the job was completed.
Highly recommended and will definitely use again for any future work, as will the rest of my family.

Mike and Reece were wonderfully helpful when the installation of a new outside socket wasn't as easy as originally hoped. The extra work was quickly done with minimum disruption and the total job was still within my original budget, so value for money was excellent.

I was needing new sockets and lighting in the man cave in the garden. Excellent communication on the job from start to finish. Mike came out and explained how the work would be carried out. When the job started Reece carried out the work required to a high standard and was a very courteous and obviously very knowledgeable in his work.

Even when I threw in that I needed my bathroom lights replaced in the middle of the man cave job. This wasn’t a problem and was carried out quickly and efficiently by Reece.

Mike carried out the electrical works for a garage being converted a living space including sockets, lighting and fire alarm. Mike was very professional, communicated well and provided a great quality of service. The price for the work was the best from multiple sources I tried. We had three smoke alarms and one heat alarm installed to meet new Scottish legislation. We also got a replacement outside light and new electrical box. Reece was the electrician who did the work and we found him to be very polite and easy to understand. Nothing was any bother to him even when we had two additional electrical work requests such as a new light fitting and switch.
