I have used Lee to install and service our boiler for many years . He provides excellent communication and arrives on time and completes the works as he says. His most recent work is complete our annual boiler service and install a new co2 alarm. I would highly recommend LCOM Gas Ltd.

I searched on Trusted Trader for a reputable gas engineer in the area where I live and read all the reviews for LCOM Gas. I noticed the overwhelming number of these were in the 5 star category. I contacted Lee via Trusted Trader regarding the boiler servicing and, even though he had other jobs on, he arrived the following day from a job about 10 miles away. Lee and his assistant Terry were prepared, enthusiastic and basically ready to crack on with the job. I was highly impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail and their friendliness. As well as the boiler checks, my outside gas pipe and condensate pipe were both checked, as well as my radiators, integrated smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detector (checking these, inside and out, had never been done before, only the boiler itself had been checked). That alone stood out and demonstrated their dedication.
The attention to detail and professional courtesy were both very noteworthy. Previous boiler checks took around 15 minutes but time was not an issue for Lee and they spent much longer doing the work, meticulously "crossing every T and dotting every I". That was reflected in the boiler safety certificate, which arrived promptly the next day, on which they had documented everything.
The overall cost of the servicing was very competitive, actually lower than what I had paid before but done to a standard ten times higher - it was definitely not just a "rush job". Of course, shop around by all means, but, based on my experience as a customer, you'd be hard pressed to find a tradesman who is more professional and approachable as Lee. In terms of value for money and quality of work, I genuinely don't think LCOM GAS Limited can be matched in the Fife area (and, most likely, beyond Fife!). I can highly recommend this gem of a company for boiler servicing, and, I have no doubt, any other type of gas related work you may require. My only regret, and it's on me, is that it took me until now (April 2025) to find LCOM GAS Limited.

Boiler service and boiler fault sorted

I have work done from new boiler and radiators, major leak in bathroom to annual boiler check, I have never been unhappy with any of work . Boiler replaced completely. Work done quickly, professionally and to a high standard throughout. Very impressed with knowledge, skills and professionalism throughout the job. Could not get anyone with the know how to work on my Ideal Mexico boiler until LCOM was contacted .

I had my gas boiler serviced.
Also in the past I had a repair to the gas boiler with which I am fully satisfied. He did a thorough check after the repair, everything was running smoothly, he left his mobile contact number if I had any concerns, I did feel very reassured the boiler was safe and sound, that was a year ago.

This company is very reliable and always keeps you informed of what is happening. They let you know in advance if there is a problem. The guys are also very friendly. You always pay what you are quoted. Very honest and trustworthy. Wouldn’t use anyone else.

Had my bathroom completely replaced. The guys were great throughout the process. Put protective cover over all carpets before work started. All debris removed, all plumbing, joinery and electrical work carried out to a very high standard. Would gladly recommend Lcom to everyone who needs any work done.

We have been using Lee’s services for 10 plus years! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Professional , reliable and very reasonable. We have had our boiler moved from kitchen to attic then attic to utility room. Radiators renewed. Fitted bathroom and kitchen utilities. Also recently repaired and replaced guttering. 10/10 every time! Our warranty has just expired for the boiler so signed up to the monthly payment plan as well. Wouldn’t use anyone else !!!!

Discovered Lee 2 years ago when I moved into this property. His work is first class, he now does my boiler service every year. He was back last week to instal the en-suite, fantastic job as usual, kept me informed of what he was doing, explained the process and left the area clean and tidy (as usual) a side note, for weeks I’ve kept smelling a “chemical” smell, no one else could smell it. I opened the front door to Lee and he said are you using any gas appliance? I said no, he said you’ve got a gas leak! He tested and found the leak and repaired it and did NOT charge me. How’s that for service?

Lee did the plumbing for me new kitchen, and in the process replaced the stopcock and outside drain when it became clear there was a problem. He does excellent work and is very reliable.

Messaged about a broken rest button on boiler and he arrived within half an hour to sort it out great service.

Have used Lee and the team for my annual gas/ boiler service for the last couple of years. Most recently yesterday. Lee and the team are always professional and polite in their approach. They arrive when they say they will and as a customer they keep me updated when I am expecting them. This helps for planning my day.

Paperwork is always completed and emailed to me almost instantly.

As yet I haven’t needed the team for anything else other than an annual service however I would have no concerns at all about picking up the phone to Lee should I need any further work done.

Lee from Lcom Gas Limited came round to replace the ballcock valve on our water tank, and also sorted out the hot water to our kitchen tap (only cold water was coming out). Very happy with the service, and he came round to fix the problem within a week. Will definately use Lcom again!

Boiler serviced

When i had an issue with my boiler the winter before last i contacted Lee who promptly come out to review the issue. Not only did he resolve the problem efficiently, but they also kept me informed throughout the entire process. His communication is what really sets Lee apart from most other local traders, in my view.

Since then, I’ve become a member of their homeplan service, and I couldn’t be happier. When my boiler was due for a service, he proactively contacted me, scheduled an appointment, and ensured everything ran smoothly. The service provided is excellent.
