Excellent job, quick and easy service and fantastic price!

After having tried for 13 months to get local roofers in Anstruther/Pittenweem
to come to inspect my roof with not one coming back to me or inspecting work needing doing, I decided to contact Ian Barrett Roofing in Leven, this was at 8.30 one morning this week, spoke to very friendly lady on the phone explaining my problem and asking if they would be willing to come along, inspect the roof and quote for necessary repairs, I was advised they were very busy but she would arrange for someone to call hopefully within the next 2 weeks.
At 10.30 same day I got a call telling me that a couple of their tradesmen had been rained off a job and that she had arranged for them to call and see what was needing done, arriving at 12.00hrs they set about looking over the roof, replacing missing tiles, fixing loose tiles and cleaning weds etc. from gutters. after completing at my house went along and did inspection/repairs on a rental property we have in Anstruther.
I will certainly use this firm again. BRILLIANT SERVICE.

Roof inspection revealed 4 tiles needed replaced and heavy build up of moss on North Facing section cleaned - again perfect
Roans cleaned and new ones installed where necessary
All work was completed to an exceptionally high standard and where applicable tested to ensure that repair / replacement achieved the desired result

Weather conditions were far from ideal but the workforce remained unphased and retained a cheery outlook throughout.

All debris was removed and my property was left tidy and with the exception of the new fittings and improved appearance you would not know that they had been there , unlike many previous contractors where I had to clean up afterwards.

I have no hesitation in recommending this firm , the level of courtesy , ability and attention to detail has renewed my hope that there are still good trades people out there who care about their customers and the quality of their work

Re-roofing of house including removal of previous structures. We had a great experience working with Ian Barratt and his team. From the outset, communication was excellent and we were informed in good time of planned work, which was always commenced when indicated. The work spanned several weeks and was carried out by a number of members of the team all of whom worked well and efficiently with care and attention to detail. It was a pleasure to have the guys on site, particularly through very wet and very cold spells of weather - throughout there was no loss of effort or good humour or the feeling that we were being looked after ! We are delighted with the results of the labours and the cottage has taken on a new lease of life with its clay tiled roof. Based on our experience I can thoroughly recommend Ian Barratt roofing.

Called Barrett’s Thurs morning and spoke to a very pleasant lady and they arrived Fri morn ( in horrific weather).
The lads were polite, efficient and quick.
Solved the problem with photographs as evidence.

We had the ridge tiles replaced with dry ridge tiles and the chimney re-pointed in the attic.
Ian, Jackie and the roofers were very helpful, polite and hard working.

I used this Company after reading online reviews, here and on other sites. They fitted a single ply membrane to a summerhouse roof, and sweated on felt to two shed roofs.

I was kept updated with dates, times and the time scale for the work throughout.

The work was carried out when they said it would be and both the membrane and felt are really well done. They were cheery and professional and they left the area clean

I would have no hesitation recommending this Company.

Ian Barrett's diagnosis and remedial work at my home was spot-on.
Other tradesmen never visited, and those that did had given estimates for their so-called solutions which would have been of no help and wasted my money.

Ian and his team removed and replaced two old pan tile roofs, a flat roof and inserted three new skylights. All under minimal supervision as I don't live locally. I left them to get on with it and that's exactly what they did. Reliable, pleasant and skilled, I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Tile displaced on the roof after the high winds. Very prompt and friendly customer service reply and did their best to sort as soon as possible. Very professional, excellent customer service and job completed without a fuss. Will definitely use again - highly recommended!
