Roof repairs tiles and gullies. First used to repair my grandmothers roof (tiles) and used again to repair the gullies in my house. Their services were in demand after the recent winter storms but they attended in good time.

We had a section of roof which was not coping with the water from heavy rainfall. Ian Barrett assessed the work required and had his workmen attend timeously as arranged. The workmen were thorough and carried out the work as recommended. At this time it all seems to have been successful, however rainfall has not been heavy as yet.

Great team both on site and admin. Fairly priced and they done a great job on our roof. We had a leaky roof duct replaced and it’s been perfect since being replaced. Would definitely recommend to others.

Had the guys out to replace broken tiles and remove an old Satellite dish damaged by the recent storms.
Attended to this rapidly and had the work completed in a short time to a very high standard.

Very dependable company Which is really unheard of nowadays. Don't trust any of them but this company exceeded our expectations. The workmen let us know what they were doing every step of the way and if they had to disappear they let us now when they would be back. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

I had slates come off in the recent storm, neighbours were pointing it out to me and 'roofers' had started knocking on my door offering to fix it. These were clearly chancers and it made me feel very nervous about opening the front door in my own home. I rang a few people I found on google but they were all booked. I got Ian Barrett's number from one of these, and checked them out online and saw they were a Trusted Trader. Jackie in the office was very clear about how busy they were and how long I might have to wait, I agreed to be placed on a list. As it happened a couple of the guys were nearby at that time and come straight over to have a look and replaced the slates there and then!
Honest and straightforward people with the skills to do a job. It was a flat rate for a very quick job but this was made clear to me, I don't have these skills, they do and the visible fix of no slates in the gutter stopped the cowboys knocking on my door.

Gutters were replaced on my house, which meant all four sides and a lower roof covering two sides. Barrett’s recommendations when viewing the work and listening to our suggestions were very good. The work was carried out carefully and cleanly to a very professional standard. I am very pleased with the product and the appearance. I have no hesitation in recommending Ian Barrett Roofing Ltd.

Repairs to 4 areas of roof- slate, concrete tiled, flat area and old ridge :plus repointing chimney area: all performed carefully and thoroughly by experienced professionals.
No mess: site cleared well: scaffolding up and down rapidly.

I have been very pleased indeed with the total re-roughcasting job, with additional cladding, done by Barrett to my home. The quality of the finish is excellent and has been much admired by neighbours and visitors. It would have been useful to have been warned about the extent of the work area so that I could have removed and saved some of my garden plants but I cannot fault the quality of the work done, and I certainly would recommend the company to anyone needing such renovations.

I contacted Barrett Roofing to appraise the roof on my house and to obtain a cost for replacing the guttering around the house, with regards to the roof I was unsure if it required to be retiled.

Following the appraisal of the roof Ian advised that there was no requirement for the roof to be retiled, Ian advised that the roof should be cleaned down to remove the moss and replace any broken tiles.

I have found Barrett Roofing to be an honest / professional company that I wouldn’t hesitate to use again if required & would certainly recommend them to anyone requiring work to be done.
