We are very happy with the service we received from Fife Windows and Doors. During our initial visit to their showroom and when the salesman visited our home there was no pressure put on us and all options were explained regarding what was and wasn't suitable for our installation. The installation team were professional and discussed with us as to what works would be carried out each day, They cleaned up each day and took all the rubbish away each night leaving the house clean and tidy. We are very happy with the quality of the finish and also the quality of the doors and windows.

We had all the windows and doors replaced in our house, they came recommended and did not disappoint. The fitting only took 3 days and apart from dust (expected) you wouldn't know they had been in. Neil and Andy were friendly, efficient and even the dogs liked them!

Service was first class from start to finish. When I first went to the showroom to ask for advice, we discussed all the options for replacing my windows and doors without any pressure to buy. I arranged for a visit to give me a quote and once I compared their service with other suppliers, I went with Fife Windows & Doors to replace all 12 sash and case windows and both the front and back doors. These were fitted over three days to an excellent standard with minimal disruption, ensuring that any dust and debris was cleaned away each day.

I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their windows or doors.

From start to finish the service has been fantastic. Honest prices with no pressure to buy and £1000 cheaper than the other quote I got.

Install was a month earlier than estimated and Neil and Andy who installed the windows are brilliant. Great guys, top notch work and they even fixed my broken garden gate before leaving, which had been broken for about 2 weeks.

Installation of 8 windows plus back door. Everything went smoothly from survey to completion. The installation was carried out over 3 days by fitters Neil and Andy who were exceptional. They were friendly,professional and worked great as a team. Guys turned up on time advised what was to be completed next day which allowed us to work around them.

I had used FWD last year to do the front of the house, so got them back to do the rear.
Neil and Andy made an excellent job of fitting the double glazing at the back of the house ( 4 windows) and cleaned up once finished.

I had a sunroom built in March.
From Ian coming out, listening to what I wanted, to Mike overseeing the build, everyone was very professional.
Ian made 2 visits. I was planning in advance and having other work done in my kitchen. I felt Ian listened to me and designed exactly what I wanted. He made suggestions that kept the build within the budget I had in mind. I did not feel pressured to make any decisions.
There were some delays in the build due to the weather, but I was kept fully up to date as to when work would restart.
Everyone arrived on schedule and all trades did excellent work. Mike made sure that I was happy with all stages of work. When they hit a problem leak it was fixed before completion of the build.
I would happily recommend Fife Windows and Doors.

We had previously used Fife Windows and Doors in 2021 to fit three new doors and a replacement porch at our house (a late Victorian cottage with modern extensions), and were pleased with the quality of their work. So when in 2023, we had a much bigger job to be carried out (31 replacement windows and two french doors!), we asked them to quote for the work.

Other independent Fife companies also provided quotes, but Fife Windows and Doors impressed us most. They listened carefully to what we asked for, then suggested alternative - and lower-cost - solutions when some of our original ideas were rather impractical. Contrast that with other companies who simply said "yes" to everything we asked for, but did not convince us that they had actually thought about our particular needs.

We could certainly have found lower prices elsewhere, but Fife Doors and Windows once again convinced us we had made the right choice. After a detailed, lengthy measuring visit, a quote was supplied, we then made a second visit to their showroom and talked through some details (resulting in a further small price saving measure proactively offered to us - how many other companies would have done that?). Then a final quotation was given - no haggling required, no "buy now and get a 10% discount" nonsense, and no deposit/advance payment required until all work was completed to our satisfaction.

We did have to wait for about three months until the installation took place (though that delay actually inspired confidence, because it showed the company was busy) but good communications throughout kept us advised of the timetable.

Having tradesmen descend on your home is always rather stressful, but this was the best experience we have ever had. Admittedly, it was a big and expensive job, but the company threw everything at it and incredibly, the whole project only took 3.5 days. The team worked very hard, were polite and respectful throughout, and didn't create too much mess (a slight mark must be deducted because their final clean-up was not brilliant). When they hit a problem when fitting an awkward window, one of the company directors turned up and spent over two unscheduled hours on site helping the team to find a solution.

We of course do not yet know about the quality of the new windows - will they stand up to the weather at our rather exposed location? - but they certainly appear to be of a high standard. We are also delighted with their appearance (we were replacing timber windows with PVC) but the new ones look good externally and have wooden facings inside to avoid a 'plasticky' look.

Was anything less than perfect? Yes - the final clean-up as mentioned above, and also, for some unknown reason, two of the windows were sealed internally with silicone when we had specifically asked for that not to be done, because silcone can't be overpainted. So I had to buy special shellac paint to allow me to overpaint - Fife Windows and Doors owes me £25!

But these were minor problems, and we thoroughly recommend this company. If you are looking for a straight-talking, honest job of work to be carried out, at a price which will not be the cheapest but more importantly will provide value for money, then you should ask Fife Doors and Windows to quote for you.

New composite front door. Guide for choosing doors was good. Measurements done well. Had to wait little while to get the fitting done but we were informed about where were were in the queue. Fitting done well, within 5 hours. Quality door. They phoned me the next day to check everything was OK. We're very happy.

Can’t sing the praises of Neil and Andy enough. As well as doing a great job fitting the door and windows, they were both so lovely - going above and beyond with the way they interacted with my son (4yo), who hasn’t stopped talking about them since!
